Third Person POV At the Smith Group's charity banquet, Jason held Susan's hand and stood under the spotlight, basking in flattery. Suddenly, the screen went black, and a statement appeared on a red background. It was a divorce notice—Charlotte's request to formally sever all ties, issued through her lawyer. Next, a clear ultrasound scan was shown, accompanied by an audio recording. "Take her blood. She's tough, so she won't die from donating some blood." I compose the second part of the message as it came together in my head and I send it to her. Luckily for me, she opens the chat window, because the blue dot on our chat window is indicating that she has clicked on our chat, so I wait for the blue dot to change to the small cloud with three dots that will indicate that she is typing a reply for me, but after waiting for a while and she doesn’t make an attempt to text me back, I go ahead to compose the remaining things that I have to tell her.

Maybe it was the loud snoring from the old man in the next bed or just his own restless mind, but Jedediah felt an urgent need to talk to someone. Without thinking, he opened the chat with me. He typed cautiously: [Are you there?] A second later, a red dot appeared, followed by the prompt: [You haven't added her as a friend yet.] Jedediah clenched his phone, while I looked at Georgia's latest post, bursting into laughter.
