Proposal Novels & Stories

I'm pretty sure he currently sat in his place in heaven, smirking down at me, in the same way he always did whenever he knew he had someone on checkmate. Corny bastard. I ran my hand through my hair frustratedly, trying my hardest not to blow up at the world for playing a tough one with me. Dad one, Simon zero. "Okay fine. Since it's in the will, and he's already dead, there's no way we could change it. I might as well accept defeat. How much time does it say that I have?" I asked, resignation and acceptance of my defeat evident in my voice. At this, my mother, my sister Melvin, and my late father's barrister, all exhaled deeply, now finally able to let go of their tenseness.

Sam asked with a smile. I glanced at Cassy and she shook her head no. I quickly went through my list of excuses. If I said no, just flat out, Sam would view me as even more of a challenge. If I said that I wasn't going, Cassy, Scarlett and Don would be upset. If I said that I already had a date, he would probably ask me for a name. I looked at Cassy for help and could tell that she was going through the same list that I was.

That was a statement. I didn’t question it. Instead, I grabbed my brush and dragged it through my hair. “Is there a reason you’re here, or are you just observing again?” His mouth tilted slightly. “I have a proposal.” That made me look at him. “A proposal?” “Yes.” I crossed my arms. “This sounds suspicious already.” “It’s practical.” “Those are usually the worst kind.” Damien ignored that. “I think it would be beneficial for you to start working.” I blinked. “…working?”

“That power can be shared without being stolen.” Silence fell again this time not tense, but thoughtful. Varrek looked to the elders. Some nodded. Others hesitated. A few avoided his gaze entirely. Finally, he spoke. “The council will vote.” The process was slow, deliberate. Each elder stepped forward, voice echoing in the chamber as they declared their stance. When the last vote was cast, the outcome was clear. Not unanimous. But enough. Varrek exhaled, the sound tight. “The proposal passes. Provisionally.”

“ What's to help without a little bit of fear? Let's get back on topic here. How do you propose that we work together?” “ I was thinking your men can go out and do a search on parts of the world we haven’t been able to get to yet. And Maybe we can set up camp here. A few of my men stay here to report back to me if you find anything.” He rubs his chin with his hand as if he was thinking about it. “ Hmm, that sounds interesting. Maybe we can arrange that.” “ perfect how about..” We are interrupted by a man barging into the room. He looks like he’d just woken up.

I scream before he can walk away without telling me the truth for once. “Every girl that comes into this school is up for claim on her first day. That means that the guy that claims her gets to nail her first, and then she is a free game to anyone. I claimed you, but you are way too much trouble for what is sure to be a horrible lay. So I give up my claim on you. You are at their mercy now.” He turns and walks away like he was having a normal conversation. I look at Mason silently asking if it’s true. He looks down and can’t seem to meet my eyes.

He rocked his head, “But we should be leaving tomorrow to catch the yacht to take us.” “That sounds amazing.” Triston said slowly, “You’ve already sent out everyone’s invitations?” Marcus nodded, “Of course.” He sat up in his seat, “Triston?” He asked, “I was trying to invite Oliver-” The name nearly made me throw up in my place. “But I’ve called him- and nothing.” Marcus reached into his coat pocket, fishing out an invitation. “Do you know where I could send it to? He needs to be there- he’s family!” Triston took in a deep breath,

She apologized, bursting through the doors of the meeting room. "You kept us waiting, Miss Yoori, but don't worry, we will all forgive you after you take us on a flashy date after we are done with this meeting." Her cheeky assistant, whom her boyfriend despised so much said, he was a sweet talker, so after making the others believe that she should take them out on a date as a form of forgiveness, they all supported him.

breathless, he was stealing my first kiss “B..let me go.” Day by day, the vision blurred, it seemed that the other guys were standing up and starting to leave this room one by one, leaving only him and me. Why? Isn't this a business talk? I was thinking in fear, his voice continued to play in my ear "why do you dare to think while having intercourse with me?" “T… I don't have one! Please forgive me, I really don't sell my body, I only turmeric, .. if you want, ask another go girl."
