Pumpkin Carving Demon Novels & Stories

I was instantly thrown back down with my skin pressed so hard it felt like I was being crushed. "You did not even ask why I brought you here? Well, I will indulge you." He walked to a wall covered with vines and pushed the leaves away. A strange structure was revealed, and an equally odd structure was engraved on it. The head of a demon was engraved on its center. “You wolves never stop to think, never stop to ponder. All you know how to do is fight, fight, fight. But this world is more than that." He flicked his hand, and a silver dagger materialized into his palm.

Coldly, he pointed at me and Maria and continued to scold, "Then explain why your 'friends' know. Never mind, I don’t want to hear your excuses." As soon as he finished speaking, Fred sneered and raised his hand. In the darkness, the figure of a demon materialized. It had the head of an ox and the body of a horse, emanating an oppressive, suffocating stench. Its skin was like decaying swamp, covered in sores and bloodstains. Its enormous ox-like head was dotted with glowing crimson eyes that gleamed with cruel malice. A long, forked tongue flicked out of its mouth, carrying the pungent smell of rot, as though it might devour everything in its path at any moment. The grotesque creature stood

"Answer me pumpkin, what if I go against master and end up killing your child instead, for my own satisfaction" "KILLING YOUR CHILD INSTEAD.." The words of the demon echoed in my head.

" Because despite how bad the witch hunters are, the creature that sent those harpies is even worse," " Who or what sent those harpies? , " Bonnie asked. “Paulo, the Music Demon ," “ I am sorry. But did you just say music demon?, “ June asked with a puzzled look on her face “ I did, “ “ How dangerous can a demon name Paulo be?, “ “ Do not let the name fool you. He is a type of demon that can manipulate other folklore through his music. If he is close enough, he could bolster their strength to make them nearly invincible, “

The stick's head was carved into the shape of a black widow, its deadly hourglass painted red making it stand out against the stark silver. “You have endangered us all,” The man seethed. His voice was calm, sweet even, but the ex Emily thing knew that was just a mask. Her overlord was livid. “Your dalliances in the mortal world have drawn unwanted attention to us.” “Others have crossed the veil before,” The demon complained, trying to screw up as much defiance as she was able, though she was too frightened to bring up much. “Others have had good reasons. You were simply… bored...?”

The house had a porch with steps they climbed and Kilvic couldn’t draw himself from the bold Carague emblazoned on one side of the wall. A carague erred on the side of the jaguar, but physique was as far as the semblance went. The demon easily stood twice the size of its earthly counterpart, and with a poisoned saliva, its preys never went far once tasted. It was a strong enough demon, but he’d always considered it one best used for hunting, because while its three eyes gave it a greater peripheral view, it was negated by its inability to focus on more than one point at a time. Gifted with eyes on both sides and yet unable to use them optimally made for an irksome disadvantage.

He wasn't sure he wanted to know the details. "DeVayne was involved in all sorts of dark practices, and you'll need magic to help defeat Harrison. It appears these despicable individuals summoned a demon," Westwood explained, her tone tinged with annoyance. "A demon?" Parker blinked, clearly taken aback by the revelation. "Well, it was once something else. It used to be a revered spirit called Okami, a sort of Japanese ghost wolf. But DeVayne's wickedness twisted it, and now, the Okami is all that's keeping Harrison intact," Westwood elaborated.

Carl was wise and sharp to know that something was going on when he disappeared. Carl met a lot of ghosts and demons in different stages- such as ghosts one step away from becoming a demon, fully demonized souls, and half demonized souls- a lot of times due to the nature of his position in the haunted mansion. So Carl could tell the demon's breath in Lucas long ago. But because Carl treated Lucas sincerely as his friend, he did not report it to anyone in the haunted mansion and kept it to himself. He doesn't want to witness his friend being treated as their backup food.

We're getting close, I can almost feel the demon. The thick steel door is just how I remember it, gunmetal gray and at least four inches thick. Zack opens the combination latch with practiced ease; he doesn't seem nearly as nervous as I feel. The eerie silence that follows us in sends chills up my arms, but it's short-lived. We barely get inside before laughter completely floods the room. "I thought you'd never get here!" the Demon calls out. He's in a sturdy wooden chair, completely bound and chained to the floor. Zack was right, he looks nothing like Uncle John. His eyes are completely black and his skin has a clammy, yellow hue to it, almost as though the body has already died.

"This is yours." The demon's eyes stayed on the remaining fruits inside the makeshift rucksack. Gingerly, it started wrapping the fruits that had escaped the rucksack back inside. Fyn blinked with confusion when the demon did the entire thing with utmost care and precision. Its sharp nails were careful not to damage the skin of any fruit, it eyes looked as if it was in deep concentration. With furrowed brows, the demon continued its task. Feeling a little ridiculous with all his staring, Fyn let his eyes fall on the loquat on his hand again and sighed. Forcing himself, he bravely crawled towards the rucksack and started picking up the remaining fruits that the demon hasn't picked up yet.
