The Work of Grace

The Work of Grace

Out on the baseball field, the teams are warming up before their rematch for the baseball tournament between the four townships that intersect here, and my eyes follow Sam as he throws the ball around to his teammates, fielding when it’s returned. “But Pat’s been fixing up the grocery store ever since. He’s almost done.” Alice occupies another blanket corner, rocking her youngest sleeping over her shoulder, but leans forward and gives a light smack to the hand of one of her children when our new shepherd pup give a pained yip. “Gently when you touch the puppy,” she scolds her child seated between us, playing with Julia and the puppy and a knotted piece of rope Sam gave him.

The Alpha Who Left Me Pregnant

The Alpha Who Left Me Pregnant

In fact, hearing that Stormy and Lila would stay with us for a while might make Kael feel better too. By the time I parked at the area near the basketball court, I felt better than I had in days. The truck with the bodyguards was still parked there at the far end under a tree, with the front facing the basketball court so they could watch everything happening. A large group of boys was playing basketball as I walked closer, their shoes sliding and scraping across the black ground. Braylen, the boy I knew best, caught the ball and dribbled past two boys before tossing it into the basket.

The Hidden Princess At All-Boys Alpha Academy

The Hidden Princess At All-Boys Alpha Academy

“I told you to stay away from my yurt! You’re worse than the whores!” The pups yelp in delight as they dash for her, playing, pretending to leap at her and then dashing away as she sprays them with foam bullets, shouting at them to get away from her house, and to never come back again, that they’ll rue the day they ever crossed her door and disturbed her solitutde. I burst into hysterical laughter, leaning against Jesse for support as the pups come again and again, clearly delighting in the game – although it becomes immediately aware, at least to me, that to Midnight? It is not a game.

Excellent storyline. Ending lacking completion. The last chapter was rushed skipped a year in the timeline. Very disappointing. Same with Julie's story. That said will the other stories be written, Rafe's, Jesse's $ Mark's?

I am really really enjoying this book! Initially, I wasn’t too keen on the double fated mates premise, but as I keep reading it all comes together. I love how exciting the story unfolds. All the characters, the smart funny banter, the friendships, character growth, and story development is awesome!

Who Stole My Pup?

Who Stole My Pup?

“I formally accuse my mate, Alpha Ethan, of pup-theft, bloodline betrayal, and conspiracy to break the mate-bond through deceit.” The next few hours were a blur of formal statements. Enforcers dispatched to Seraphina’s den. The Lunarium grove sealed. Ethan taken to the holding cells for questioning. Seraphina sat in a corner, the pup—my pup—clutched to her chest, silent tears streaming down her face. I sat on a stone bench, exhaustion a weight in my bones, but I dared not close my eyes. What if this, too, was a phantom? “Luna.” A female Enforcer approached, offering a cup of water. “The rituals take time. Rest.”

My One-night-stand Alpha

My One-night-stand Alpha

But Jasper managed to turn his body and cause the boy in the blue uniform to fall to his knees on the ground, a terrified look on his face. "That's cheating," Kevin mutters, but I don't look at him, I'm more concerned with watching the way Jasper is advancing down the court, once again getting close to the hoop and finally burying the ball in it. I shout out loud once again, my hands clasped against my heart, which is beating anxiously, excitedly, and fearfully. Looking at the clock, I see that a few minutes have passed and at least two more baskets like this are needed to guarantee victory.

June said from my left side, quietly watching the court. Meg was running at full speed to the opponent's hoop but she didn't have the ball. She had successfully drawn attention to herself while Pokello who was with the ball took another route to the hoop. Pokello threw the ball and Meg jumped to catch it, dunking it simultaneously, making a clean alley oop. Her teammates ran to her as the whistle was blown indicating the end of the game, making them the winners. Gracie was about to run into the court but I caught her and pulled her to the parking lot where we waited for Meghan.

I Picked Up Alpha's Puppy

I Picked Up Alpha's Puppy

Katya washed her hands of the scrawny little thing. Patti’s survival was not ideal. Katya did not regret her actions. But perhaps the pup could be of use to her now that she had proved her resilience. “It’s a weekday.” Lupa cautioned from where she was watching. Katya allowed ‘warmth’ to seep into her expression. “I know. I just wanted to award the girls for the good grades they both got on their spelling tests.” Vera beamed. “I made a 92!” “That’s good. I know how hard you studied.” Katya replied.

 Love, Lust and Blood

Love, Lust and Blood

The referee blew his whistle, indicating the restart of the game. Solomon passed the ball to Zack. I ran into the opponent's half, he threw the ball to me, and I jumped up, catching it. I bounced it once and dribbled an opponent. Zack got into a better position. I passed the ball to him, and he put it in the basket. Game on!

The New Bad Boy

The New Bad Boy

The referee blew the whistle and the game started again. It started off with Andy dribbling the basketball and pass it to his friend and he eventually scores it. Now we're leading. Throughout the game, the Leopards manage to catch up with our score as a result we were back to square one. I glance towards the board and saw we only have 5 minutes left until the game end. Our team is holding the ball but the opposing team manages to snatch the ball. Tyler ran up to him trying to get the ball but he throws the ball to the hoop, luckily, the ball went out and I breath out in relief.

Divorced My Cheating Husband, Married A Billionaire

They installed hoops in driveways and vacant lots and taught kids and young adults how to play. The smiles on the community members’ faces were unmistakable. Mateo’s family was especially proud of him. The footage even brought tears to Jake’s eyes, and the camera panned to several audience members who were also weeping. “That was touching,” Jake said. “We need more basketball players like you guys.” “Yes!” the crowd echoed. “We’re praying for Luxford Iron Pulse to win the league — you’re representing our country, so of course we’re rooting for you,” Jake added. “Not that we have a choice.”

Why is all the chapters are locked again when I already finished reading up to the latest chapters? Can someone help? Now, this book isn’t even in my library like I’ve never read it before when I finished reading to the latest chapter. I don’t want to re-do unlocking the chapters to look back.

This is one of the best books I have ever read on Goodnovel And I can not wait for the continuation of the next one related to this one. Thank you for your constant updates and not making us wait weeks or even months for a chapter or two. It was a total pleasure to read these two books. I can't wait
