Pure Vanilla Cookie 소설 & 이야기

She says to herself. "Wow! This is a good cookie. Where did you buy this?" She asked the assistant that was now in the receiving area. "Miss Bloom made those." She responded while typing on the computer. "Vivian Bloom sure is talented, these cookies are to die for. No wonder her boyfriend has a round physique." She thought to herself. Her mood was uplifted as she ate more of the cookies. When Vivian arrived with her bag she almost finished the whole serving, which was 6 pieces of 3 inch cookies.

Lila's POV Against all odds, the cookies actually turned out amazing. The warm scent of melted chocolate and vanilla was still clinging to my hair as I walked down the quiet corridor of the ground floor, carrying the heavy ceramic plate with both hands, staring down at the golden-brown cookies with a ridiculous amount of pride. They didn't look anything like the lumpy, half-burnt disaster I'd almost created before Lucien rolled up his sleeves and rescued the batch.

Cream cheese, sugar, eggs, vanilla, graham crackers, butter, and peanut butter. I looked up at Erica abruptly when I heard her say "peanut butter".

My hands were still a little shaky from the adrenaline of the breakthrough, and my mind was a messy blur of work thoughts and the way Adrian's shoulder had felt against mine. I moved down to the next shelf. There it was. Plain vanilla. The most basic, unadventurous flavor on the planet. In college, Jason used to eat it straight out of the carton while he watched me study, claiming that life was complicated enough without adding swirls or nuts to his dessert. It was a peace offering. I knew he was going to be furious when I got home, and part of me wanted to soften the blow instead of bite back. I grabbed the vanilla and turned toward the counter, but I stopped dead.

“Ooouuu! What's for dessert?” “Cookie dough ice cream. I made it myself “ Julian declared proudly. Adele clapped her hands excitedly. She remembered mentioning how cookie dough held a special significance to her. Her heart melted as the cold, milky aroma of the ice cream wafted into her nostrils. Julian’s cookie dough ice cream was smooth, creamy, and rich with vanilla ribboned with dark chocolate swirls and packed with buttery, chewy chunks of cookie dough that melted on Adele’s tongue like a sweet secret.

"Yeah, and they're delicious but they're not the main focus of the company 'cause the profit margin is kinda low. Understandably, you don't know this since you've just entered the company. Lucas has a special fondness for the snacks manufactured under his company 'cause Anya has always loved those snacks so Lucas made sure the snacks are well-made." As he was saying that, Jason picked up a shopping basket and threw some of the snacks in before opening a bag of cookies for Corinne to try. "This is one of the classic sandwich cookies by Rivera Group. Do you want to try?" Corinne accepted the cookie and her eyes shrank to pinpoint size with just one bite. 'This taste, it's so familiar.' She fe

Clara smiled at her excitement. “Is it like pancakes or something?” Cyra asked her, extremely curious to know everything. “Yes, you can make it as a pancake or muffin, muffins but I prefer them as cookies more. This way they came out more nutritious as well as tasty,” Cyra keenly heard her every word which doubled her excitement….but that excitement started vanishing as the time proceeded further and she watched her making those same exact looking cookies which she had seen and tasted before. But Cyra kept her mouth sealed.

“No cookies for the rest of the month." Julian frowned. “I made those so Faye could eat them Sandra. All of them." Sandra frowned back. “She ate them. Three of them to be precise and three is enough for Faye. Too much sweet is bad for her.” “Sandra... those are Softbatch Cream Cheese Chocolate Chip Cookies! They're not all sweet and surely won't make Faye fat or obese! She could eat a thousand of them and she won't gain cholesterol and even if she did we're rich. We'll give her a whole damn museum of gym equipment to burn those fats.”

My likeness of her was long gone and I had no idea why. "We have so many flavors available today. We have the Vanilla Flavor, Chocolate Flavor, Strawberry Flavor, Butterscotch Flavor, Cake Batter Flavor, Chocolate Chip Flavor, Coffee Flavor, Rocky Road Flavor,Cookies and Cream Flavor, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Flavor, Black Raspberry Chip flavor, Mint Chocolate Chip Flavor and the Raspberry Ripple." She read from the computer in front of her and then released a sigh when she was done. She looked back up her very well practiced smile gracing her lips yet again.

I glanced across at Davin, who was devouring a heart-shaped cookie. "How's the cookie, Parker?" I asked him. "Perfect," he replied, selecting another one. His gaze narrowed at the icing, his expression turning serious and focused. Something didn't feel right.
