Reading books has been my therapy lately. "Let's get to it," I mumbled before I started searching the shelf to find a book to keep me busy, and I finally found one, 'Promises Are Made To Be Broken' by Cha Cha, a Nigerian author. Although it was my first time checking this book out, but I trust her work to always come out good, because I've read some of her books in recent days and found them all interesting. I had no idea why her books are here on the royal shelf, well, that wasn't my problem though.

I know it's not healthy, but it's a gimmick I can't ignore. The title is: Randomness: tales of an ordinary girl. HM, OK. Let's go. “I'm Moniquinha, an ordinary girl. Even if you don't relate, it's okay. You may be an exception, a bright person, a special girl. And that's the amazing thing about it all: being different. Because, like I said, I'm pretty ordinary. And from the height of my normality, this book of randomness was born. Small texts, from short stories to chronicles, with experiences and bitterness; reflections and hope.

After all, I overheard a maid telling her that the hibiscus' buds were getting mature. "Do you like to read?" She asked out of the blues, stopping in her track suddenly and turning to face me with her arms folded. "Huh?" I could not find a word to say since her question had been sudden. "I have a library filled with novels. When I'm not out, I'm in my library, stuffing my nose in books. Personally, I like romance novels." A small smile crept onto her small pink lips and she looked down at her feet. But she soon lifted her head to stare directly into my eyes. "Do you like to read novels?"

She thought as she tried to look around for a hibiscus plant, and she also kept avoiding touching any of the plants, which she knew were beautiful but dangerous. "Where the heck is the hibiscus?" She said, frustrated, as she was scared of still being in the forest. She walked further, and she was finally about to give up when her eyes caught it. "There it is." She said happily, almost in tears. The only thing that will give her freedom from the Alpha. She can finally go to school and be free. She quickly walked up to the flower, but before she could touch it, she felt a hand on her shoulder.

She said and walked away with her noisy heels. Mo and I sat, moving our laps to the tense atmosphere of the room. In my five years of being a journalist, never have I found myself in a cell, but Mo’s foolishness was capable of doing that. I heaved deeply and regretted listening to Mo in the first place. I should have peacefully stayed back home and flipped through the pages of purple hibiscus by my current favorite author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, and sip coffee from the new mug I bought from Las Vegas at intervals, that would have been much better.

She inhaled deeply. “Wait,” she whispered. “What?” he asked. “How do you know about the flower you just prepared? You’re not from us. You are Inhumane.” Peirce ignored her question. “Just drink.” He poured it all in her mouth, watching as she swallowed it. “There you go.” She coughed. Peirce patted her back as she leaned over. “I stole the book about the flowers from my grandma,” he confessed. Sniffia wiped her mouth. “And you said you are unlucky,”

" angry with the author's stupid dog shit novel; she hurriedly opened her keyboard and typed in " THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NONSENSICAL NOVEL , F*CK YOU AUTHOR!" But cursing the author once wasn't enough for her so she repeatedly cursed the novel and the author . The Fl was putiful but so was Chelsea under WHAT premises was Lilian allowed to have a HE but Chelsea was given a BE? " Iliana! We will be late for Mrs Sushma's hindi lecture " " I'm coming Rohini " Iliana shouted to her best friend and rushed out from her room but as soon as she stood up her head started to feel dizzy .
