La Arma's Heir

La Arma's Heir

Before opening the book, I looked around. I smiled. "Ali seems to miss the plants too." I snorted and leaned back in the chair. Later, I shook my head. "What is that, Rain! Why are you thinking about Ali?" I smiled when I saw a new spring flower. I took the cell phone and immediately took a picture. As far as I know, this is the Hibiscus flower or better known as Gumamela. The color of the petals is red. I immediately posted it on my social media account. I walked again to take some more pictures.

Royal Blood

Royal Blood

She died in her throne chair, with her bloody crown on her head, they made her body the spectacle of the kingdom reminding the power not only The Royal Blood can have. Yubin was sure that this is that novel. The title of the book was 'Lost Queen' a tragic romance story, written by: Olavier Belet an English/Japanese author... The novel he wrote was about 20 years ago, it was a novel it never got the ideal reads since it can't be read below 18-year-old, this book has too many fetish scenes and blood that might cause a child to dream a nightmare... So it was privately banned, so few people we're able to get this book before it gets banned.

Whispers of Smoke: A Second Chance at Life

Whispers of Smoke: A Second Chance at Life

I did not say anything during the entire thing and just watched her quietly as she put on her show. I wanted to know just how sincere she was during our seven years of friendship. By the looks of it, I was too naive and mistook this venomous viper for a harmless pet. That was why I ended up dying so tragically in the previous cycle. “That’s fine. If you can’t help me, someone else will.” I did not stop smiling and dialed a number. The moment the call went through, the person on the other end asked anxiously, “Miss Nelson, have you managed to contact Joy?”

Her Billionaire Ex-Husband's Regret

Her Billionaire Ex-Husband's Regret

Just a pressed blue flower nestled between the first pages. She didn’t need a signature. She already knew. She placed it gently on her bookshelf—beside her worn journals, the framed smiles of survivors, and the yellowing newspaper that once called her The Phoenix of West Africa. But this wasn’t a trophy shelf. It was a museum of becoming. A shrine to everything she had grown through. Later that week, during a lunch break filled with jollof and soft laughter, Clara leaned in with a conspiratorial whisper. “You’re glowing,” she said. “Like a woman who just got proposed to by someone who listens to jazz and speaks in love languages.”

At Arm's length

At Arm's length

I look forward to being a well known writer like, Chimamanda Ngozie Adichie, the late legend; Chinua Achebe, Nnedi Okorafor, Wole Soyinka, Colleen Hoover, Ted dekker, Sidney sheldon, Dean Koontz and so many others. I don't think I have ever seen anyone who reads wild like I do. My love for books is out of this world, I just purely love good books, like really really good books with awesome plots. I can't be spotted anywhere without holding a novel. I was about to read one, 'Home coming' by Yaa Gyasi.

This book was a page turner from start to finish, I couldn't put it down once I started. Full of humour and wit, and some of the most ridiculously funny characters I have ever had the pleasure of reading about. This book is worth five stars and more. Kudos to the writer?
Illustrious Joy
An inciting read with spurs of savory romance, humour and subtle wit. I so much love the bond between Adesewa and Kenechukwu. The writer's pen keeps brewing scintillating scenes about them that it leaves me with an insatiable urge for more chapters. Big ups to you dearie❤

"I can't stay. I don't want to disturb you people." "Don't worry you won't disturb us, just stay with me pleeaaase!" I gave her my best baby look. "Okay." Thank God! "That's why I love you!" I said and hugged her. She sat down one chair away from I and Prince and started reading a novel. My novel! This girl is a thief! Prince's POV "Are you not going to meet her?" Chibundu asked me as we talked. He was referring to Jasmine. "No be now." (Not now.)

"That is good then. Just make dinner for me and run my bath, I am retiring early to bed today." "Okay ma" After eating and having my bath, I am on my bed reading a Americanah, an African themed novel by an African author, called Chimamanda Adichie, suddenly I remember what Nelly said to me at the restaurant but I just bluff it. My phone rings, I check the caller ID, it shows Alyssa with a heart emoji after the name. "Why is this smallie calling me?" I pick up the phone call. "Woman, what do you want?" I playfully ask her.
