Hellblades
Turquoise water surrounded me, blinding and endless.
A school of tiny orange fish darted past, pecking at invisible crumbs, brushing against my arms like pests.
I growled, batting them away.
Further down, I caught sight of a coral reef. Colors flared in red, purple, green, jagged and beautiful, swaying with the tide. No Manolya.
No white dress, no pale skin breaking through the blue.
Only shadows shifting, mocking me.
I dove deeper.
The sea floor came into view, sand rippling with the pull of the ocean.
