She looks at me, "You used to visit sometimes, don't you remember?" I shake my head, "If I did, I wouldn't be asking questions." "I was the Queen's maid and Henry's nanny." My jaw drops and that's when the memories come flooding back, the gifts, the trips to the castle and the little brunette boy, which used to chase me around the castle and play hide and look with, it's Henry. "You remember now?" I nod, "Yes." Henry walks into the living room and tells Nana that the car is waiting outside, she kisses his cheek goodbye and gives Henry a hug and leaves. The sudden realization that I'm left with the king hits me, and I am nervous like sweaty palms nervous.

While she plots to make the Queen pay for her wrong doings, she smiles artificially to the women fawning over her, her smile broadening when she overhears a few of them talking about the Queen’s illicit affair with her servant. The whole garden is buzzing with female laughter and chatter, which suddenly dies down as the Queen makes her entrance.

“Can you pass me that shovel over there?” Queen asked as she pointed with a finger towards what she wanted. “Of course. Here you go…” I said as I passed her the shovel. The sun was high in the sky and the wind felt pleasant against my face and hair. The weather was perfect for some gardening time with Queen. After going through breakfast, I met up with Queen who suggested that I join her in the garden. I felt thankful to her for finding something for me to fill my Reiner-free day. She taught me the names of the various species of roses that she had in her garden. Although I found the names beautiful and amazing, I only managed to remember a few of them.

"Yeap. I'm fine. Where is the Queen now?" I gave Ms.Odelle a tight smile and headed towards the Queen's chambers. When I got there, Queen Charlotte was looking out the window. Her chambers overlooked the main garden. It was where Prince Phoenix had brought Eve. This garden was the biggest and the most stunning one of all. I walked in just in time to see a guard leading the Dark Prince out of the garden. Eve was sitting on the trimmed grass, simply looking around. Not long after we saw Ms.Odelle walking over towards Eve.

Following Heather Quelch and Carson Yorke, Tyr Summers and his friends walked all the way to the innermost part of King Quelch’s royal residence. There was a man-made garden within the estate, where all kinds of precious flowers and plants had been planted. Even though it was summer, some of the flowers were still in full bloom. Moreover, Tyr had never seen many of these flowers before. There was a pavilion in the centre of the garden. The sun was shining brightly, but there was a refreshing breeze blowing towards the pavilion.

Whispers of servants, viewers of the council, I maintained my position, though my heart sank within me. The council chamber was bigger than I used to know in my childhood. The large ceiling, fancy tapestries, and floors made me feel tiny. Councilors were muttering together, when Rowan gave a signal that I was coming. They all stopped at once with the eyes on me. Formally Rowan announced it: "Her Royal Highness, Princess Aurelia Valeon," and bowed slightly. "Heir to the Valeon Kingdom." I smiled, nodded my head, attempting to make myself deaf to the accelerated beat of my heart.

If I had been in her place then I would have done the same."

I pass him a black shirt which he pulls on. There’s something about watching the fabric slide over the muscles of his abdomen that makes my stomach flutter. I need to get control of myself. It’s colder than I remember, with the sun fading fast. More Autumnal than the false summer we’ve been experiencing.
