Lacing our fingers together, she looked at the way her hand fit so perfectly in mine, "Do you think this rollercoaster ride is finally over? Would it be smooth sailings from here?"
I drew my lips into a thin line, "No," was my honest answer which brought a frown to her lovely face, "There are so many rides to go on and so far we've just been on one: the rollercoaster. We still have to try out every other ride in our amusement park called life."
"So poetic," she teased, lips splitting into a bright smile, "You should have majored in English lit or something."
