" I asked with a smile. "Yes" she replied. "Have you taken illegal drugs before?" "No" I motioned for her to look at the screen and her eyes widened with surprise. "You see, it's that easy." I said with a smirk. "What's your name?" "R.J" "Your full name!" "Roselle....." "Don't mess with me!" I said pinning her with an angry gaze. "Roselle Jackson" she replied in annoyance. Her name struck a bell, like I've heard it some where.

“I know who you are. You’re Natalia Rosenhall…” Rachel said in a low whisper. I wondered what my identity had anything to do with any of this, but I was willing to find out. “You’re right. I am Natalia Rosenhall. I wasn’t trying to hide it or anything…” I confirmed casually. “Knight left me once and I found out later that he went after you. But he’s back now. He returned to me, and I’ve decided not to let him go a second time,” Rachael said determinedly.

Claec's gentle hand had reached over to pet through her overflowing and untamed brown locks, and those warm eyes landed on her again, "What is your favorite flower, lil miss?" She had hesitated. "I like…" She bit her lip, trying to think, but only one answer came to mind, "roses." Claec had liked those best, and roses reminded her of… Warm eyes. An amused chuckle hit her ears, "Red ones?" "No." The lie escaped her mouth without a hitch. SCRATCH.

Jade replied shamelessly, "Oh, come now, they've known each other since they were kids. We're together! I'll let Allen take Rosie's name if that's fine with you." She then signaled for Allen to come over, but Allen did not budge. My mother smiled and said, "I've told you: it's better for our families to not have any further dealings. Stop all your bullcrap and get straight to the point." Jade's expression turned awkward as she said, "Actually, I came to apologize. Please have mercy on us. The Walters can't take this anymore!" "Why not? But Allen must admit that he was engaged with Rosie, and Lydia has been the third wheeler all along."

I couldn't believe how handsome he was, and when he produced a bouquet of flowers from behind him, my heart melted. "Good afternoon, ladies," he said. "It's such a wonderful, beautiful Saturday, don't you think?" "Cut the crap, Romeo," Rachel said. "Where's my own bouquet?" "Blake is on his way with it," he said. "But in the meantime..." He plucked out a single rose from the bouquet, then handed it to her with an elaborate bow. "For you, my lady." Rachel squealed as she took the rose from him, then she turned around and stared at me quietly before she said, "If you break up with him, I'm going to kill you."

If he loved me, why'd he trash me in front of Charlotte? I couldn't stomach more of his fake, nauseating love. "You've got it all wrong. I'm not a rose. I was born to belong to this land. Someday, I'll fill this barren place with roses myself."

Let’s get you inside before you catch a cold.” I nod, following her through the door. The walkway is just like I remember, on each side are prize winning roses. Of different colors. Huh? When do black roses exist? I took a small detour from following Alexis, bending over a patch of those strange black roses.
