Ashes and Rain The rain came softly. Not the storm of anger or judgment, but a gentle, forgiving drizzle that fell from the sky like a sigh of peace. The shadowy figure turned its burning eyes on her, and the doppelgänger’s voice echoed in her mind, a chilling whisper. “Choose, Sasha.
