Noah lets out a sigh in defeat and then places the sandwich back on the tray. He lifts the small lid off of a smaller plate and smiles when he sees a cupcake with rainbow sprinkles. He grabs the cupcake, peeling the paper from around the base then bringing it towards Jace's face. Jace's nose flares when he smells the sweetness of the icing. His eyes opened, curious about what it was he was smelling. Any other time, Jace would have smiled and happily grabbed the cupcake... But he just can't bring himself to eat.
