And, as far as I was concerned, a much bigger problem to take care of. But now that he was on alert, Helen was going to have to be twice as careful when trying to set him up. Randy went to the closet and opened it, reaching up on the top shelf to pull down the spare pillow and blanket. “I guess I’ll sleep on the floor,” he said.

Randy woke up when the sun hit on his face. He groaned as he tried to shield the light from his face when he felt someone tug at the covers. "Wake up Alpha. We can't be late for the peace treaty." Kayla chirpy voice said as Randy groaned. He had barely slept at all last night. His wolf had been at war with him, he was angsty about Aluma. His wolf had howled all night longs saying there was something wrong with Aluma and he had to be with her because she was scared. But he brushed it aside.

“So, you believe that there is a possibility that they plotted your father’s death and mother’s disappearance. And there is a great chance that your father’s schemes were discovered, or reported by someone… which eventually lead to his death—ordered to be murdered. And that leaves you to find who did it. Whoever stabbed your father in the back could be someone close to him.” “Correct.” Raverine grabbed a glass of whiskey and took it in one gulp. “Could be his friends or foes or… his own family.” I nodded and turned my attention to the computer screen. Marcus cast his eyes down as his shame covered him like a new winter’s coat. “ For now,Noah, please just trust me.” For a while after Noah left his room, Marcus stared up at the ceiling, feeling like the lowest form of life for lying to his best friend. How could he possibly explain to him that his dad and new girlfriend were being haunted by an ancient spirit, the same one who haunted his gran and her sister years before? “ Hello Marcus.” The voice which suddenly interrupted his thoughts, was melodious and familiar. Marcus looked to his side and by the light of the moon beaming through the window, he saw her.

another commanded him. They immediately ran towards the source of the sound. I was very relieved because I felt the guy named Bryn was looking at me suspiciously. “Bryn Parker,” I mumbled as I read the name on the card. The business card indicated that he was part of the Flower Skull. Luckily, when I first brought Frey to my house, it was almost midnight. No one looked at Frey at all. Father werewolf, mom witch and lover is vampire, what a luck? Made him faceless. Made him every man. Randy. As soon as I was a teenager, Randy tied me up and shredded me into ribbons. His fangs tore. Claws tore. Nauseating smells clogged my nose. The fluid washed over my stomach and legs, and the cuts burned again. A long, serrated blade slid across my sternum, and Randy began cutting. Terrible memories and old screams echoed in an endless loop.

My eyes rolled, searching for help, and landed on my sister, who stood by, watching Randall drink, a smile on her face. The look of satisfaction on her face broke my heart. She wouldn’t have to wait long for my death; I could feel my head getting light and my eyes getting heavy. I could feel the pull of death, and I welcomed it. Just as I convinced myself to let go, there was a whoosh of air, and Randall was gone.
