Raed tried to block me with his body but Gavrael wrapped a hand around his neck and lifted him off the ground like he weighed nothing. “Raed!” I screamed as I tried to free him from Gavrael’s grip. I realised my mistake when Gavrael turned to look at Raed who was struggling to free himself. Raed was one of the strongest males in the Grenshaw pack, yet his struggles seemed so helpless against Gavrael. Even if he was a bit weakened by the silver, he should have been able to free himself at least. I remember how helpless I was when Gavrael held me, but Raed is stronger than me. The only explanation was that Gavrael was just too strong.
