The words tasted like defeat. “She’ll what?” Raven smiled, her eyes glimmering with madness. “She’ll die? Go mad? I’m counting on it.” I let out a guttural scream. Raven’s power spiked. A corona of blue flame now surrounded her. Her eyes gleamed like crystal daggers, her body vibrating with the energy of a thousand suns.

Prairie Rose was nothing more than another responsibility. You can coordinate the digital counter-strike from the secure van with Viktor."

Jacob reassured him confidently. "Half of the men you appointed for this mission are already dead," Raven pointed out skeptically. "I don't trust you, Jacob. Remember, I was the one who revived you. You serve me, and if you fail to deliver what I want, I will not hesitate to kill you." Jacob's eyes flashed with a murderous intent but quickly returned to a calm demeanor. Raven is setting up Indigos new temporary room for the next couple of days when her phone starts to ring. Taking it out of her back pocket she sees Axels name flash on the screen. "You better not of fucked up my system" Raven says as she answers. "I didn't I was just calling to let you know that boss asked that you stay with Indi and also if you can remotely set up the night vision for the maze" Raven groans she loves watching the hunts and now she would miss it.

Everyone is watching what Raven is doing. "What are you doing, Raven?" Kyra asked. "I make our work easier," said Raven. She's busy pressing the keyboard. Her fingers were typing fast, and a moment later, Raven was smiling. 'Impressive! Raven is a computer genius. I wonder what else she can hack.' Tyler thought. "Whoa, how did you connect the CCTV to your laptop?" Kyra asked. She couldn't believe that Raven had done that in less than ten minutes. Raven opened the CCTV files and saw something there. Each phase has different vendors, and the last one is the ice cream vendor.

What has changed? "I know it's been forever." Raven sighed dramatically, bypassed me and dropped into the seat next to Mom. It was weird to see them both together. Raven looked the same as usual, though. Her arms were decorated with sparkly bangles and bulky rings lay on her fingers. She pushed her black hair over her shoulder and it cascaded softly down her back. "So, where are you both off tonight, then?" Mom asked excitedly, sounding like a teenage girl. "There's a New Year's Eve party at Ross's house," Raven began. "I know it's going to be good because my horoscope says I should focus on myself more for this month so that means I'm getting blackout tonight."
