Amd then I noticed it. The locket that hung loosely around Raven’s neck. It was the exact same design as mine. The one I had was given to me by my mom with both our pictures in it. I had worn it everyday since she died, and only ever taking it off when I needed to go see Eldric—because to him the fact that I still carried it was childish. Engraved there was a crow or was it a raven? I’d assume that it’s a raven since it has a long beak. The beak of the raven was holding a rose. It’s like a sigil of some dark organization. The envelope emits a certain kind of smell. I wasn’t sure if I smelled this before already. Anyway, I decided to open the envelope. Yuji’s eyes were fixed on it as well.

Raven The sun was blinding as I cracked my eyes open, but was quickly blotted out by a tall form stepping into view. Before I could reply, a sharp sound echoed above us, it's was a loud caw. I looked up. “What was that?” “A raven,” he said quietly. “But not an ordinary one.” The black bird circled once, then landed on the railing beside us. Its eyes glowed faintly red, and tied to its leg was a small scroll sealed with a strange, dark symbol. My heart raced. “Damien, that symbol” He already knew. “Witch coven.” I swallowed hard. “From my mother’s side?” He nodded slowly. “Probably.”

Emberlynn recognized the design because her mother had sometimes forced her to learn strange things, and the Celtics were one of them. Above the wolf, a crescent moon could hover, and at the base of the emblem, the words "Silver Woods Pack" were inscribed. The tattoo peaking from his arms where he had rolled up his sleeves wasn't helping her perception of him. The weirdest thing of all was she felt as though she had seen the tattoo and emblem before. Pate looked at the sheet of paper with a gold wax stamp and an eagle print on his desk. The color and emblem of this wax stamp are Raltz's, and of course, this letter means it's from Raltz. Each clan does have its color and symbol. The symbol is presented using animals, which are bird groups, and colors that also represent the animal. The Haltz clan has the Phoenix bird as their emblem and red as their clan's official color. While Raltz has an eagle with gold color. While Waltz, they have a black crow.
