The man went down with a muffled grunt, his body jerking as she wrenched the weapon from his grip.

Raven thought his death was near when he saw dozens of red eyes behind the trees in the Forbidden Forest. Raven had just learned that one of the Shadow Wolves fighting him was a scout. Raven was completely underestimated as an Omega; even the scout Shadow Wolves thought he was weak and could be easily killed.

Holden noticed her eyes roaming about. " Are you looking for something?" He asked and Raven looked at him. " Not really. I'm just admiring the decorations. It is beautiful" Raven chuckled. " I'll go with this avatar. But make her look a bit taller like as tall as you and her eyes color should be green. Her hair should be dark brown. And oh, I'll like her costume to be matched with a black mask with only her eyes visible" Holden instructed and Raven frowned at him in confusion.

The headlights cut through the dark. Raven looked back at the cabin. The door was wide open. And standing in the doorway was a figure. A dark hood. A shadowed face. Watching. Raven's heart stopped. The figure raised their hand. Slow. Deliberate. Taunting. They waved.

Making me feel like i just asked the worst question. "Well", he said his voice going back to how it usually was, the voice that would make a stranger run for the hills. "Well I'm Bryan Raven, lived in New York most of my life till now. Cause my dad thinks I can jump off our apartment, so here I am being catered by you guys", he said finally with his face going plane. "Well trust me they're way more places to kill yourself here than in New York", i said matter factly trying to lighten his mood. "And you'll also have enough reasons not to, believe me", I said practically whispering it, hoping he heard me. I hope i never give up on him, he deserves so much, he deserves to br fought for.

I watch the door open, Bear, Hawk and Doc walking in and sitting. “Take a look.” I watch as Grayson holds out the box and envelope. Why is he showing them? I stare at him. “Raven’s past is coming back, it’s someone who likes to kill those she is close to. So we’re calling in everyone, if we’re not with her, we need at least three more guys watching her closely.” “You said those she is close to?” Doc looks at us and we nod. “Yes, that includes Ava, so if we’re not going to be with Ava, we need more people around her.” I won’t let Grayson pretend like Ava isn’t a target.
