Raven’s point of view. After the first sunrise, I bid farewell to Ryker and Blaise and embarked on a journey to Fenrir’s territory. Seconds turned into minutes and minutes turned into hours. Soon I approached the border of Alpha Fenrir’s territory. I saw a wolf, walking along the border and my heart jumped to my throat. Taking a deep breath, I gathered my thoughts and maintained my composure, I held my head high and I approached the wolf with my heart pounding in my chest.

I said, moving to sit across from him. His brow furrowed. “Would you ever leave me alone?” he muttered, and I smirked. “Of course not! That’s why I’m here to help.” I cut straight to the point, crossing my legs. Even though Arden appeared to be the most ruthless and powerful among the three of us, I knew he carried inner burdens that he had been shouldering alone. And his health was one of them. His anxiety gnawed at his wolf, driving him feral whenever it overwhelmed his emotions.

I shook my head disapprovingly. Minutes later, the large wooden door of the Alpha's mansion home slowly creaked open. A gray wrinkled wolf stumbled out blinking in the sunlight. Oakley tapped her high heeled paw impatiently. The old wolf painstakingly hobbled over and announced that Raven was next to enter and be interviewed. Rayven jumped up excitedly. "I'll do a quick one for y'all's sake," she joked as she headed towards the cool retreat of the mansion. She offered her hand to her elderly companion but the gray wolf turned it away.

RAVEN The carriage wheels rattled against the uneven stone of a cave. The moonlight vanished, replaced by the flickering orange of torches mounted on the walls. I huddled in the corner, my chest tight. Through the small, barred window, I heard the carriage slow. The wolves outside were talking, their voices echoing off the cave ceiling. "Lord Arden said to move fast," one of them growled. "He doesn't want the Prince finding a trail." "The brat did her part," another rasped. "The old man used her perfectly to get the boy out.”

I ask while kneeling down in front of her feeling how uneasy she feels hearing her parents yelling for her. I can’t help blushing a little when I stare into her obsidian eyes noticing her looking me over trying to understand what she is feeling. “I don’t know,” she whimpers at Rebecca screaming for her so I nod and scoop her up into my arms. “It’s ok come on,” I reassure while carrying her towards the barn door to find her identical twin opening the door. They are very much the same except, their hair, eyes, and abilities. Raven’s hair and eyes are pitch black and her aura was that of an extraordinarily powerful Lycan Alpha.

I spoke confidently which led them all to cheer and hoorah, thrusting their fists into the air. “Then, I propose we start now!”. Grams said with a big smile. “Dante let’s pair you with Raven! You know what to expect from her wolf”. She suggested with a mischievous grin, and I caught the slight gulp in his throat from having to go head to head with my wolf, and it would be the first time everyone apart from Dante would see it. I got up and walked to the centre of the camp and got into a readied stance.

She looked around until seeing a smaller gray she-cat with amber eyes staring back at her in amusement. "Ravenpaw's just mad that you took her nest." The she-cat paused as she licked her chest fur, looking rather curious as she watched Smoke. "My name's Snowpaw, by the way." Snowpaw tilted her head to one side when Smoke didn't say anything. "Well, you don't have to tell me your name, but it would be nice to know. Russetstar might not be happy you're here, but we could always use more warriors in the Clan."
