It was Henry's turn to freeze. He gulped nervously, his eyes darting around, searching for what to say. An uncomfortable silence ensued between the four of them. Hailey kept her eyes averted while Scarlett looked on, waiting to see what would happen. "I asked you a question, Henry." Dylan said coldly. "How did you know about the rogues?" "It was just a guess, Dylan." Henry answered with a nervous laugh. "What else would spook a powerful stallion out here in the forest?"

“It’s my first time I’ve seen him fancy someone. I think, obsessed. That’s the right word to use.” The way he’s looking at me is as if he pities me. I think I should be pitied though, for catching the attention of someone as Ryan. I have always known that Ryan is sick in the head. My encounters with him back in college and recently says it all. "Have you already defected to another country, you bastard?" Marilyn barked sharply. Henry shook his head repeatedly, explaining, "No, no. The enemy hasn't attacked yet, so why would I defect to them?" "Why are you so panicked, then? Are you lying?" Marilyn asked again. "I'm just a bit scared of you, Grandma. You're the head of the family, too. I wouldn't dare to take any action before you've given your approval, would I?" Noticing how firm Marilyn's attitude was, Henry dared not say much.

I was here, in what’s considered the most dangerous city in the United States. If it weren’t for Kim, there’s no way I’d go through all this trouble, traveling so far just to fetch her damn documents. Damn her scatterbrain for always forgetting important stuff and dragging me into her personal courier service. Pulling my phone out of my bag, I dialed Kim’s number. Henry simply processed the information little by bit till he became puzzled. "Umm, so I should be cautious?" "Yeah, since you're travelling alone now." Henry came to a halt and looked towards me. "What?!! You've got to be joking, right?" "No, I'm not kidding." "But why is that? I can just follow you quietly even if you don.." Henry came to a standstill because he realized Riel always had a motive for doing things. "Is something wrong?" "No, not at all. We came here to hunt, and you're going to have to face more dangers. Look straight forward."

Since Lydia had decided to cultivate, it would be good to get her started as soon as possible so that she could protect herself in the future. "What? So soon?" Henry's heart sank, realizing that she had taken a risk, possibly putting herself in danger, to gain information or negotiate with the rival alpha. Filled with a mixture of concern and admiration for Yennifer's bravery, Henry knew he had to act quickly. He couldn't let her face Cain alone; he had to be by her side. But deciphering the code took time, and by the time he understood the message, it was already late into the night.

You’ll see soon enough.” Raymond’s unease deepened, but he said nothing. Whatever Henry had planned, it was clear they were entering a dangerous game—one that could either secure their ambitions or destroy everything they’d worked for. Sophia leaned back on the couch, a satisfied smirk playing on her lips. “I hope you know what you’re doing, Henry.”
