For Ray to stop, for Lizzy and Mrs Dee to let me go…for someone to stop Ray from killing Ezra. It goes on for what feels like hours. The sound of flesh pounding on flesh is loud. I hear Ezra’s grunt and groans from the feet apart, I see the blood that covers his face. And I can’t stop crying. My heart squeezes in my chest, my hands ache from struggling against their grip. “Raymond!!!” I shriek. “Raymond, please! I’m begging you, I’m b-begging you!” My cries fall on deaf ears. The rough sand digs into my knees, I can feel the skin breaking.

I said. “I don't even know how you're able to still crack a joke, Sal,” Rayne said, wiping at her eyes. “My brain feels like it's going to explode and my chest hurts on the inside.” I opened the door to her room and waited for her to get inside before following and shutting it behind us. Rayne took a seat on her bed, still silently crying. Tears ran down her cheeks faster than she could wipe them off. “Rayne, what really happened down there? What did you see?”

Lilly flinched. Her breath hitched. Her chest ached. He thinks I’m crazy. Tears welled up in her eyes, and before she could stop them, they spilled down her cheeks. She hated it. Hated that she was crying in front of them. “I’m not mad,” she whispered, her voice trembling. Then she clenched her fists and screamed, “I’M NOT MAD!” Ray’s heart broke at the sight of her. He couldn’t stand it. Couldn’t stand seeing her in pain.

I lay awake in my bed crying, drowning in the memory of Hugo’s wails. Some of which I was certain came from outside too as the poor man wandered helplessly towards his own death.

She asked worriedly. "No. I'm not okay." Rayan buried his face in the crook of her neck, bringing her closer without any intention of letting her go. I'm sorry. I'm late. I'm sorry for making you suffer here alone. Salty tears streamed down his face coating her skin as he muttered senseless apologies for so many things. So many irreversible things. When Crystal felt something wet on her neck, she understood he was crying. She felt heartache. An unbearable heartache. "What's wrong with you?" She muttered softly and put her hand on his back.

He asked in a dangerous tone, seeing Justine towering over a now crying Riya. The brunet finally snapped out of his rage, hearing Ray's voice. He turned to look, eyes wide seeing Ray's stern face. "ray.." Riya called out, tears cascading down her face like waterfalls. She was a crying mess, looking too pitiful, but Justine knew better. She stood, running toward Ray as she cried on his chest. "H-he attacked me.. Ray. H-he.." She sobbed, choking on her words. Justine rolled his eyes at her acting. He gazed at the Ray who's now glaring at him.

His heart sank when he found her sobbing while clutching her stomach. “Baby, please calm down. You can’t take stress right now, please, Lily.” Rayan begged her to calm down while pulling her to his chest, trying to comfort her. Lily buried her face in his chest as she sobbed uncontrollably. The doctor left the room while giving them some privacy to deal with the grief.

His brows furrow. I freeze. The laughter dies. They’re all staring at me now. Staring and noticing the redness around my eyes. The tears I clearly missed wiping away. The lingering tremble in my hands. “Maeve?” Seyla questions. Four sets of eyes staring at me with so much concern it makes my skin physically itch. “I’m fine.” “You’re crying,” Seyla says softly. “No, I’m not.” Lyra tilts her head. “Babe, tears are literally running down your face.”

Raymond. He was Slouched in the hospital armchair, his elbows on his knees, hands clasped beneath his chin. His eyes were red. He wasn’t crying, not anymore—but it looked like he has been crying for a while now. Tears didn’t come easy for Raymond. It's hard to see him cry, in fact I haven't seen him cry before. So anything making him shed tears now must be worth it. I didn’t move, I just watched him breathe and try to hold it from coming back.

I mumbled. “Rachel,” Jayce whispered, staring at my face, gently wiping the tears from my eyes. “You look handsome,” I replied with a smile. Jayce shook his head, staring at me and planting a gentle kiss on my forehead. “You were crying right now and now you’re flirting with me,” “I can’t waste my time being sad all the time. I want to smile and enjoy my time with the one I love.” “Good, you look beautiful when you smile,” Jayce said, standing up and holding out his hand to me.
