Dirty Valentine’s Secret

Dirty Valentine’s Secret

that had finally found a place to take root. "The village council is meeting at noon," Aria said, her voice "incisive" but warm. "They want to discuss the 'Analog' school. Marek sent a messenger from Berlin—the 'Unindexed' there have started a library. They’re printing books on manual presses, Ethan. Physical books." Ethan pulled her into a "possessive" but gentle embrace. The "sexual tension" of their "addictive" past had matured into a "loyal" and steady fire. "Real data," Ethan whispered. "Data you can't delete with a keystroke."

TWO PINK LINES, ONE NIGHT STAND

TWO PINK LINES, ONE NIGHT STAND

No bad men. “Read,” Alex said. To Adrian. Not me. “Dada reads on Day 1. That’s rule.” _Silence. 8:45 PM._ Adrian picked up book. Opened it. Cleared throat. Not CEO voice. Not witness voice. Dada voice. “Once upon a time,” Adrian read. 58 BPM. “There was a house. That was not a court. That was not famous. That was not bad. That was just… home.”

The PUMPKIN LETTER

The PUMPKIN LETTER

Mayumi, the library director, called to me from the entrance to the partly underground stacks. “Of course! I’ll come upstairs as soon as I finish putting these back.” Every Thursday afternoon, we held a read-aloud session for children. It was scheduled at just the right time for parents to stop by with their children on the way home from nursery school or kindergarten. By the time I returned from the stacks, about three families were already seated in the children’s area. “Now then. I wonder what today’s picture book could be?” I tilted the cover just enough to give them a glimpse.

reports and letters as expected of a Luna," Carldo informed, beaming at her. Isolde pursed her lips, listening to him as he spoke. They moved deeper into the large library, her eyes bouncing over the leather-bound books and scrolls on the floor-to-ceiling shelves. There were workers there, arranging books and cleaning the shelves and the floor. They all gave her scorching sidelong glances, but Isolde had really grown a thick skin for those hateful glances. She ignored them all and moved along with Carldo. They advanced to the far side of the library where a table and chair were. Scrolls cluttered the table, but Isolde absently scanned over them. The truth was that she could read, but she was

In the Darkness of City Blocks

In the Darkness of City Blocks

- This is good news after all our losses - says the librarian, - I don’t know if the news that I want to tell you is related to all these events or is it just an absurd accident, but let’s immediately go to the library hall, I will certainly have to show a very strange book. - Duk looked at Alud so that he without even asking anything unquestioningly trudged into the halls of the library. Dooku silently watched as waves of bewilderment rolled over Alud's face as he read a book sent to Dooku by a mere mortal named Conrod. After a while, Alud looked at Dook.

Let Me Go, Alpha

Let Me Go, Alpha

Audrey's eyes lit up in hope. "I think we have a deal." She replied with so much happiness and anticipation. "So which book are you searching for." Martin asked, with a smile of his own. "The book of Alphas." Martin's smile faded as he heard those words come out of Audrey's lips. "The book of Alphas? How are you sure the library has it here?" Martin asked. "I believe this library can contain so many sacred books that the main library is hiding away. We can't just determine them yet." Audrey studied Martin and he looked to be having an inner conflict.

I love how this book started. tho Audrey could've made a run for it when she got the chance to escape from the Pack, but I also understand she's afraid of the mystery man who stood on her way. could he be her mate as he said? I wish Audrey nothing but happiness, she seems to have gone through a lot.

I couldn't put this book down and I'm eagerly looking forward for more chapters. I feel for Audrey and the fact that her Mate doesn't love her because she's just an Omega. I was even hoping he'd give her a better place in his pack other than making her a servant again! Well done Author.

The Magic of Irina

The Magic of Irina

Then a boisterous laugh filled the room. Irina pouted. Coughing, Nieal tried to stop the laugh. He coughed few times before he could speak again. “I’m sorry.” He said. “But, books for sale?” He chuckled. “Not in my town, glassy.” Still pouting, Irina didn’t say a word. That made Nieal coughed again to cover his laugh. “You know I will never allow that, right? Everyone in this town have free access to the books that they wanted to read—” He paused a second. Then emphasized. “—in the library.”

I wish I had enough money for a phone and cordless headphones because it would be nice to fill some of this time with audio books. Maddie and I visit the public library every single Saturday morning. We check out the maximum number of books that we’re allowed, and we finish most of them before the next visit. We are both speed readers and enjoy learning as much as we can on almost any subject. But I can’t read on the job, so despite the library having free books on audio, most of my day is spent in silence.

Readers! Thank you all for being patient with me. The last 6mo has been a bit crazy in both my personal and professional lives. Happy to say that many great things are happening right now but those have hindered my writing a bit. I’m happy to report that Maddie’s book has been submitted.
Linwood
One of the best authors on this site!! Love her!! The story is well written, progresses well, engaging and I can really feel for the characters. Love the strong female characters that have strength of will, personality, without the whole damsel in distress trope, excellent strong male leads.

Mated to My Rival Step Brother

Mated to My Rival Step Brother

He needed something more considered than that. "Where are you," I said. "My room." "Stay there. I am coming." I was already on my feet. ... Alex's POV: The library was quiet in the way that libraries at this hour were always quiet. The afternoon session had pulled most of the Academy population toward the training fields and the practical blocks and left the reading rooms largely empty. I had a table in the far corner of the ancient history section, which was the least visited section for obvious reasons, and three books open in front of me and had been reading the same paragraph about pre-treaty pack boundary law for approximately twelve minutes without retaining a single word of it.
