She picked up the one book with no Braille on the spine and walked back to the windowsill. “Hey Alana, can you read this to me? I really want to know what it says” Eva whispered as she held out the book for Alana to grab.

“Learning to read will open the doors for everything in your life. It’s the most important thing I want you to do right now. Will you remember how to get here?” They nodded. “Good. How are you?” Thea said. “Good, Luna,” Arella said. “You want to hang out with me, the Alphas, and my friend, Misty, while we get some work done?” The girls nodded, big smiles forming on their faces. “Okay.
