I don’t know about you, but I can’t leave this place fast enough.” Melody hugged her chest as she allowed her father to lead her into the mess house. “I admit, I’ll be glad to see the last of this place.” When they were inside the main room and the door was shut behind them, she turned to her father and asked, “Do you think these ghosts, or whatever they are, are affecting the sheep?” Adam cocked his head in thought. “In what way, daughter?” “Their meat. Do you think they are altering the meat in some way? I’m just trying to understand what it is that’s made Ian change so.”

Ghost doesn't exist and evil spirits obviously doesn't exist either. ******

"Elle, you need to see this.” Ghost calls out. I push the knife a little harder into the Collector’s shoulder before jumping to my feet. I give him one last look before turning my back on him. His fingers have stopped twitching; even if I take the knife out, the damage is most likely permanent, and he’s no threat to me anymore. I see Ghost has walked behind the counter; he has a computer in front of him and the glow of the screen is lighting him up, making him look like some kind of otherworldly ghost. I kind of get the name but it seems more like a punishment to me, like his parents judged him on how he looked when he was born and decided to brand him with the name forever.

I began to chant as I felt the blood of Ares mixing with my own until I could feel his power coursing through my veins. I lift my hand and outstretched it until my long black fingernail was technically touching the barrier around the clearing. I watch as the tip of my nails began to bend until it melt. I smirked before retracting my hand. "Ester darling, I see you are not happy that I am visiting you today." I spoke and summoned one of my crows. This one name was Ghost, he had a liking for lost souls that lingered on earth.He could spot them quickly, something I have used him for occasionally when I want to suck some of the souls power. There is nothing more delicious than a wandering soul.

I was gone, and it wasn't as though they could speak ill of me now, not while my body was being buried in the ground. Even my mother-in-law came. She was already a frail, tiny woman, but seeing her there made her appear decades older. Grayson knelt before my gravestone, convinced he was performing some act of atonement. All they can do is move from one place to another without being seen. Well, not by everyone though." "But... if you're a demon, why then are you in this form?" She couldn't help but ask.

Nick exclaimed. He immediately pointed his thermal camera on top of the railing and what he got was a sudden significant temperature drop. "I got a temperature drop right there." He added. They quickly came to his side to see it with their own eyes. And, what they saw was definitely a crucial temperature drop. It is believed that ghosts/spirits use the energy in their surroundings to recharge themselves or for their manifestations. Sometimes, they'll absorb the thermal energy around themselves which usually results in a considerable drop in temperature. This often indicates that a certain unknown entity is present at that spot. Otherwise, what else can cause such an alteration in temperature

But they all felt so fucking real. Jesus! The thought of having sex with a ghost made me sick all over. My stomach knotted as a full-blown terror took root. A fever ran down my body and my skin gallop with goose pimples. "Do you see her?" his question brought me back to reality. I nodded slowly. "So those times I see you talking to yourself, it is her you are talking to?" I motioned. "Jesus!" he exclaimed. "You need deliverance with serious prayers oh!"

My nose stung. A sudden wave of sadness overwhelmed me as Sebastian's large hand rested on my head. I struggled to keep my voice steady. "Alright, I'll go to the room first. Don't take too long." I returned to the bedroom and sat on the bed, staring at the blackness outside the window. A hollow ache gnawed at my chest, as though something vital was missing. The sensation was unsettlingly familiar. I felt like I'd lost something precious, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't remember.
