Everything was clear and pretty much in English. I have great deal understanding Greek and Latin but they were only few pages. “What is it? Greek? Latin?” he asked. “You are kidding, right? I know you are making fun of me.” I laughed weirdly but he keep silent, his eyes set on the book. I stopped laughing. “This?” I showed him the page written completely in English. He narrowed his eyes.

I fan myself with my book, trying to think of anything except sex. The problem is… we’re reading a really boring book in English and the teacher wants us to spend the class period reading. Yep, turns out even shifters having boring old books too. And we’re reading some fictional, forbidden love story between a tiger shifter and a raven shifter. Which sounds great, in theory. But the words they use make it feel more like I’m trying to decipher an ancient language. It’s worse than Shakespeare. Phoenix asks who Shakespeare is and even I don’t have an answer for that one. Despite that, she was able to understand Latin, but she wasn't able to read it just yet. As she turned the book pages, she wished she would be able to get a copy of it in English. Like Herla was reading her mind, she offered to read it to her. Lorraine let out a faint smile, she was happy Herla was willing to read it out for her. She was struck by the way the spirit read the book fluently in English despite that it was written in Latin. She coughed and Herla paused the reading. "You know everything in this book, right?"
