Becoming the Elf King's bride

Becoming the Elf King's bride

A whole other world. Towering bookshelves, adorned with delicate elven carvings, reached towards an ornate ceiling filled with light pearls creating an ambiance of mystical allure. The light pearls were also fixed within the thick part of the shelves, emitting a soft, calming glow that made a person comfortable enough to want to spend hours and hours reading. Prince Ron definitely felt like he could live in the library. The only thing that would take him out was food.

A PACT TO LOVE

A PACT TO LOVE

I picked up the book I was reading earlier to try focusing on that rather than on him but it was quite hard to not ogle at his well-sculpted muscles. He got on his side of the bed and lay under the duvet before purposely switching off the lights I was using to read my novel. How rude! I let out a sigh of annoyance as the room got engulfed in darkness. I couldn’t help but feel annoyed but I knew I couldn't turn the light back on as that would result in another round of problems tonight. He is just a mean man cause It wasn't like there weren’t days that he'd left the light on cause he was working and I slept without complaining and my reading wasn't even harming him in any way or form.

Loved this book. I am sad that it ended but also happy that it ended on a good note.. I always read the books which is complete. For the first time i waited for updates and all. But it was worth it. Thank you so much for this wonderful book. Waiting for your next book.. Keep it up.

Wow! I can't believe I finally ended it. This book was my brainchild, I didn't plan on making it so long but I had so many ideas that I wanted to pitch that I guess I might have gone a little overboard. I am so thankful to everyone who took or is taking their time to read my book.

Mathilda

Mathilda

“You know what, you are so focus with one thing that you tend to lock yourself out from everything.” “I do not.” Gabriel started walking away, so I stood immediately and followed him with Edith, who still chose my company. “What are you doing here with Gabriel?” She answered me with her signs, keeping him company. I tapped her head telling her that she was doing good. We walked pass shelves after shelves, until we arrived at the far end corner of the library. There was no window for natural lighting in this area, so Gabriel had to lit a candlelight lamp. Five lamps were enough to set the whole corner alight, and I saw now where the other books were.

Let's talk about the synopsis! LOVE IT! It is so spooky and mysterious like when you're like; "I swear I didn't steal your WiFi password! Or did I? *with a menacing smile*" I'm still going to leave another review for the chapters. I just felt like this awesome synopsis deserves a review of its own.

The narration itself brings you deep into the book. There's this something I can't point to exactly, but the way the author leads it, the more I just want to get drown into the story. Not just that, but this story contradicts the 'soft girl main protagonist' ad I LOVE IT! MATHILDA FOR THE WIN!

Fighting Hearts

Fighting Hearts

Sloane didn't move— just pressed closer. Her forehead against his chest, her face hot and wet with tears. "Turn on... the light. Please..." Lennox's hand reached to the nightstand, and with one motion, clicked the lamp on. It wasn't bright— just a warm, soft glow. The kind of light that belonged in the corner of a childhood home, after a bad dream. The shadows melted into a quiet amber haze, blurring the sharp edges of the night. Sloane squinted at the sudden light,

Dearest Princess

Dearest Princess

Ambrose cleared his throat softly, hoping to get her attention, but Larissa remained unresponsive. Flipping through the book rapidly, she maintained an intensely focused and serious expression on her small face. Ambrose, reaching his limit, took away the book from her grasp. "Mister, I'm not done reading it!" Larissa finally responded, raising her small hand high to grab the book. "Reading in the car isn't good for your eyes," Ambrose said. "That would be such a waste of time," Larissa replied regretfully. "I'll share something else with you," Ambrose brought out a small projector and ordered Owen, who was driving ahead, to lower the partition and turn off the car lights.

Curse of the Spotlight

Curse of the Spotlight

Just like Nicholas, I couldn't detect any maliciousness, so perhaps they were good at hiding it. Either way, I had a job to do here. The scent of old paper and dust wafted over me in a comforting manner. I smiled to myself, this time taking out my phone and shining the light on the books. This would be more useful than just a flashlight because I could adjust the brightness. I scanned the books, ignoring the ones I saw as irrelevant. I pulled out a couple of them, turning to a few pages to see if they'd be of any use to me before putting them back on the shelf.

Mated To A Human

"Yeah, sure. Here, I'll lower the lights." He detours to the light switch and dims the ceiling light until it can't lessen anymore. A light in the bathroom pours out the door left ajar, creating a streak that ends on the end on the bed, and with both this light, the dimmed ceiling light, and the glow of the TV, the room is bright enough to drink, eat, and walk around without risking any incidents. If the lighting is anything other than movie-ready, it's romantic.

WHERE LIGHT MEETS DARK

WHERE LIGHT MEETS DARK

Later that Night Inside the house once more, the decorations still struggled to flutter in the fading light as dawn approached. Lily sprawled on the couch with her legs on Vandaulf's knees, Brenna on either side of her rubbing her shoulders, and Helena serving her a tray of soup like some kind of warrior queen. Vandaulf fed Lily morsels of mango while reading possible baby names from a new book called "Names That Inspire Confidence and Global Domination." "How about Artemis?" he asked.

Marked By Fate: The Alpha Who Loved Me

I had something important to do. I made my way quietly down the stairs, clutching my phone like it was a lifeline. The beam of light from the flashlight lit the floor ahead of me, guiding me through the shadows. I reached the library door and slowly opened it, flinching at the soft creak of the hinges. The library looked eerie at night. The moonlight coming through the tall windows cast shadows across the shelves, making everything feel bigger, older. Like the room was holding its breath, waiting for me.

The Alpha's Babysitter

As the night descended, casting a blanket of silence over the world, Hazel found herself immersed in the glow of her desk lamp, the soft light illuminating the pages of her textbooks and the notes scattered around her. The hours stretched into the night, each minute ticking away as Hazel delved deeper into her big project for school.
