It contained maps and blueprints of every single property the Blotters had ever owned. They were all bound together, so there was no way to take the Manor’s blueprints out of the book, not even to make a copy of them. So we took several pictures of them for later printing. A little frustrated, I put the magnifying glass down and resumed my spot on the bed.

He returned to his home with Annabelle and did research on an item they discovered in the late villain's hands. It was a special magnifying glass whose purpose was to translate ancient texts to language the holder understands. It however failed when used on the book that Annabelle had found in a cave in the ocean. It was perplexing. "Could it be that only a fairy can truly understand it?" This man didn’t just like books. He collected the idea of them. I walked slowly, fingertips grazing the spines of some titles I recognized. Some I didn’t. A particular leather journal caught my eye. Worn, cracked, and gold-edged. I picked it up, flipping through yellowed pages filled with tight, neat handwriting. Latin maybe? Or just his dark villain handwriting. Lucian’s POV Gaius came immediately. The old physician hurried into the secret room, robes flapping, eyes wide behind his spectacles the moment he saw the shelves of ancient books. He didn’t waste time on greetings. He crouched beside the nearest stack, fingers trembling as he lifted one of the volumes. “These… these are real,” he breathed. “White witch texts. Some in the lost dialect. I’ve never seen copies like this.” He flipped through the pages carefully, squinting. “The inscriptions are tiny. My glasses are useless here. I’ll need my full set of tools and magnification lenses back in my chambers. I can’t risk damaging these pages.”

But the lord murmured a spell and a magical curtain opens revealing hundreds of books floating in the air systematically. "Wow" I whisper looking around me. Max, Li, and Melanie are also awestruck with the magic library. The remaining people act like it's nothing. They must have seen this before. "If you touch any book, it will open and display on the white wall. Your modern-day movie projector works with the same principle" lord Agamanan explains. The magic book opened on its own, Rico and Niffa patiently wait for whatever the blank page will going to write, they were seated, together, at the long wooden table surrounded by the wall of books. A light was formed, and the empty page was filled with letterings in a freestyle script carved within the thin sheet of paper. They narrowed their eyes trying to read the first letter, it was too bright, and the lettering was almost as white as the paper. The light vanished and the letters turned into tinted black, thick and printed, not written by a hand. The whole page was filled, it says,

He rummaged around near his bed until he found a transparent, glassy stone that he used as a magnifying glass and placed it over the words. It took some squinting and focus, but he managed to read the tiny print. When he finished, he set the magnifying stone down and replaced the book where he'd found it. Then he sat in his chair. Though he was stoic on the outside his mind was ranting furiously, "Great...just perfect! You know she read that and believed every word!"

I run my fingers across every bump as I proceed to read its contents. Mother created that podium. It allows me to take any book I wish to read and have it converted into brail. When I’m finished reading I simply place the book back on the shelf and the book will return to its original state. Yes, it’s another accommodation made for me, but it’s a very useful one since our job sometimes involves a little research. We’ve all read every book in this library, even written most of them, which isn’t very difficult. Considering how long we’ve been alive, we have an abundance of time.

I leaned closer, my eyes straining to make sense of the tiny text. As I gazed down at the page, a sense of foreboding settled over me. The lines were so cramped and congested that it was almost impossible to read them without some sort of aid. I rummaged around the room, my hands shaking with anticipation, until I finally found an old magnifying glass that had been gathering dust in a forgotten corner of my desk. Holding it up to the page, I peered through the lens and slowly began to read.
