The Day She Stopped Waiting

The Day She Stopped Waiting

God. And another. Fair. A line. Reasonable honestly. A trail. God. Then Lily remembered. Fair. Months ago. Reasonable. A family walk. God. A cave tour. Fair. An old guide. Reasonable. And Adrian explaining something. God. Emergency trail markers. Fair. Marks showing the safest path out. Reasonable honestly. Then Lily's eyes widened. God. The marks weren't random. Fair. They were arrows. Reasonable. Tiny arrows. God.

10 chapters in and I hope it’s second chance book. I love a good “leaving my shitty husband for a better man” plot but sometimes I love a good “I need to get my wife back” plot as well. Sometimes I want to read about how a relationship was pulled back from the brink and I feel this is goi to be it.

"Can you track her?" Nick immediately nodded and took his cellphone. He had put a tracker in her cellphone so he could easily track her. He showed it to him and he pulled in another way. They trace a quicker way to catch them. "Aren't you going to inform them?" Nick asked him. "Who?" he asked and he aggressively drove. "Fasten your seatbelt," he spoke and their speed was multiplied into tenth. "The police officers," he answered and he seemed didn't notice the speed, he was only looking at the road.

Fire and Ice (The alliance Book 1)

Cali I was a little bit amazed that Damian hadn’t split his knuckles yet. I had never really watched a man work out before but even still I doubted that they usually attacked the bag with such gusto. He was trying to get the frustration out, I got that but at the same time I wished there was an easier way. ‘They found a trail, they are following now, we’re only five minutes behind.’ Tristan’s voice sounded in my head before the link disconnected as quickly as it came. He didn’t have time for chit chat he was just keeping me up to date.

you know it's really disheartening to purchase the chapters of a book and find it's not finished and has not had an update in months. I believe that as customers, we should be reimbursed if the author is no longer going to update the story and finish it. I am very disappointed.
Amy Glinski
Loving this story! Lots of twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat. The author did have some issues updating for a month or so, but we all have IRL issues. Glad she is back! Can’t wait to see where she will lead us next!

Alpha Draven's Regret: The Return of His Rejected Mate

Alpha Draven's Regret: The Return of His Rejected Mate

He had to. And he needed me to be strong. I opened my eyes and nodded. "Okay," I whispered. "I will hold it together, for him." Behind us, Lydia caught up, breathing a little hard but still looking around like she was hunting. Sweat stuck her dark hair to her head, but she moved smoothly and carefully. She had been tracking for hours without whining, following marks so faint I could not even see them. "The trail is stronger here," she said, getting down to touch the dirt with her fingers. "They got careless, too sure of themselves."

Saving The Mysterious Silver Wolf (Overpowered Series)

There was no one. ‘I’m near the Hungry Creek Trail, bro. That’s the easiest way up.’ ‘Come over to McDougall Pass Trail. We’ve found Cerelia’s phone here.’ My heart sank, and I steered the car over the rocky terrain toward the toughest trail in the region. Why did they choose the McDougall Trail?

I've paid worse. Barek, the head tracker, moves to Cassian's side without breaking stride. He's been ranging forward and returning every few minutes, each time bringing back something new from the dark ahead. He's a quiet man. Economical with words in the way of someone who decided long ago that most words are surplus to requirements. He smells of pine resin and old leather and the particular scent of someone who has spent more time in forests than buildings. "Trail's holding northeast," he says. Low. Just loud enough for the front of the formation to hear. "Six, maybe seven sets of prints. Mixed gait, some of them were moving fast at the start, then slowed. Deliberate slowdown. Not fatigue.

Tryst Of Fate: Caught Between The Alpha And Beta

I bark the order, brooking no argument. I look around for my “cousin” Rhett, and wave him over. He’s the Alpha heir to the Forest Trails pack but I called him here because his tracking skills are unmatched. If we’re missing something, he’ll find it. “Anything yet?” I ask when he jogs to my side.

It was beginning to get almost too cold for even me to run. "Let's take this trail. It leads right into the forest. Long but easy," Ezra said as he pointed at a trail that was next to Brayleigh's cabin. I had taken it only once before. The trail gave me an odd feeling. It made my beast on edge. I had no idea why. The trail was perfectly fine. There wasn't anything wrong with it. But it gave me the chills. "Alright. I think we'll need to be careful on this mud though. It's starting to get slippery around here now," I told him cautiously. He laughed and nodded at me as we started to jog.

For bitter or worse

“James and I will start tracking the vanilla trail again, you can all follow and keep each other safe, I don’t want a repeat of this.” Joao and Alexei take their protective stance again as James and I search to pick up the trail of vanilla again. I find it shortly after and it leads us straight up north. It’s a rough climb and within minutes we are all a panting mess. Sweat dripping down our bodies as the forest is thinning out and the sun is burning down on us.

From Outcast To Alpha's Queen

From Outcast To Alpha's Queen

He wouldn't just sit there and take a beating without leaving a trail. Near the back exit, Travis stopped. There was a small, jagged piece of black fabric caught on a rusted nail near the doorframe. It was a strip from Storm’s tactical undershirt. A few feet further, in the dirt outside the door, Travis saw a shallow groove, a deliberate marking made by a dragging boot. "He’s leaving us a breadcrumb trail," Travis said, his voice a low growl. "He’s conscious." "Alpha, look," one of the warriors pointed toward the road.
