“It hurts.” It doesn’t feel like it’s been an hour since I’ve been crying for no apparent reason. The fried rice in front of me is already full of tears. I feel exhausted after draining my tears. My breath is gasping, my throat feels dry, and I swelled my eyes. My vision became a little blurry because my eyes still pooled warm tears in my eyelids. It’s always the same as before; pain. My eyelids closed, and the last drops of my tears slid smoothly down my cheeks.

Rex asked, squatting down so he was level with me. I realized then that my tears still hadn’t stopped. They were sliding down my cheeks slowly, one after another, refusing to dry no matter how hard I blinked. My mascara had definitely run by now. I could feel the stickiness beneath my eyes. I was sure my nose was red too, probably runny, and my entire face was red from all the crying. This was the miserable sight Rex was getting. And strangely… he didn’t look disgusted by it. He just looked curious.

The smell was heavy, and it made it difficult to breathe properly. My eyes burned from crying so much. At first, the tears had come non-stop, hot and heavy, soaking my face and shirt until I could barely see anything clearly. I had cried for hours, my chest rising and falling painfully, my throat sore from all the sounds that kept coming out of me.

She paused and suddenly got up to peep through a very small window at one end of the room. She walked back to her position and sat back on the floor. “...For more than six hours now, if I'm not mistaken. That's how long you've been crying.” “Your eyes are completely bloodshot right now.” She added, and I sighed. “You know, I might not know what you're going through right now, but I'm very sure that crying won't solve anything. It'll only make matters worse. You could get sick, exhausted or worse still… blind.”

Tears had already welled up in my eyes so much that I tilted my head backward to stop it from falling down my face, but it came down anyway. "Damn this!" I cursed, wiping my tears aggressively. Alaric paused and watched me. His expression stunned, like he was surprised to actually see me cry. "You're crying," he said, his voice sounding like he hated to see me in pain.

I mumbled, As I stood up, he kept crying but without making any other reaction. " What? " He asked me while wiping the tears away. " Why are you crying? " " I, don't, know. " He asked me wiping them again. " I must be broken. " He kept wiping them and laughing, I didn't understand but I felt deep pain watching him or Riley crying like that. I touched his eyes helping him to wipe his tears. " Tears are falling when someone is sad, are you sad? " I put my hands up his shoulders, his eyes teared up again but he couldn't talk.

I grumbled. “ Are you really alright?” He asked, his voice calm and filled with concern. “ I don't think I have to answer that. The answer is right on my face,” I was slightly surprised by his question. “ I'm anything but okay. I've balled out my eyes for way too long and I still feel like crying,” I admitted as tears welled up in my eyes. “ Haa, this won't do,” Miro placed his hands on his waist and sighed deeply.

I feel light touch, I open my eyes, and to my surprise, I see my hands, I start to panic, What's going on? I see someone approaching me, a man with rich grey hair, he stops in front of me and snaps his fingers, my eyes widen "Father?", he smiles at me, my eyes gather tears and I hug him "Oh father, I was so scared, I thought I lost you" tears freely flow down my face, I use my hand to wipe the tears, I wear a bright smile " I can see your face, isn't that great! I don't know what's happening" He touches my face and kisses me on my forehead, suddenly everything becomes blurry "What's this?, why can't I see you anymore?" I stretch my hands "Father!, father!" I cried out "Father!...."
