The necklace around her throat glimmered, catching Fallon’s eye. Something about it tugged at her memory. She zoomed in, scanned the design, and ran a reverse image search. A decades-old interview surfaced. Rebecca, younger, smug, and gloating over a pair of earrings she redesigned from a family heirloom. “So it wasn’t supposed to be a necklace but a pair of earrings,” she whispered as flashes of memories tried to resurface. I told him. “Why? Are you having a mental disagreement with her? What did she say?” he asked curiously. “She’s excited about what you said,” I huffed.
