The man answered, “I am Alpha Roman Addams from The Blood Mountain Pack. I don’t care if you’re marked. Once I mark you his mark will disappear.” I shook my head, “Not going to happen asshole.” I stomped his foot as hard as I could. I heard bones breaking and the alpha yelled as he let go of me. I quickly moved away from him and tried to get away, but he lunged for me and landed just behind me, reaching to put his arm around my neck. I grabbed his arm and flipped him over my back.

I look at the alarm clock, 5:30am, crawling from the bed, grabbing my work clothes and heading for the shower. Getting out of the shower I glance in the mirror and see the dark circles on my chest and shoulders. Just another reminder of my secret life, a life I wish I could get away from quickly. When my eyes finally landed on Atticus, another realization struck me. Atticus is just like him! He has a pair of golden yellow eyes. I always knew that there is something different with him and I kept on wondering what it was but now, my curiosity is finally answered.
