Xavier raises an eyebrow before responding, “did your brother not saying anything to you about coming here?” I begin to think back to the moments leading up to waking up in the opulent bedroom. Because the first true test of the global bloom and of humanity itself is beginning. That is where Chapter 31 starts.” The trio descended the ridge, moving toward Hollowreach itself. Every step was charged with anticipation, each thread of bloom-thread around them vibrating in rhythm with the distant spiral. “We’ve awakened Iluren,” Ari said softly. “Now we see what the world does with it.”

So she waited. The beast howled as it leapt over the fence. Still she waited. ‘Why hasn’t that stupid Alpha done anything yet … What is he waiting for?’ Her breath caught in her throat. The beast leapt. She saw the gleam of its vicious teeth as they approached to close around her neck. ‘I waited too long… I’m dead’ Her life flashed before her. She closed her eyes. “Bang” Instead of piercing pain, all that greeted her was warmth. She gasped and opened her eyes. She was in the arms of the Alpha.

I murmured, my eyes drifting shut. The shadow is broken, the city is safe, but the cost of the final grounding is about to be tallied. Does the story shift to the medical wing for Elena’s "Resuscitation" (Chapter 90), or does she wake up days later to find the New Order already in place (Chapter 91)?
