I questioned, staring at his sad face that was now resting against my chest. “Yes, I was. My informer said the fire was strange. It was unquenchable with water and fire extinguisher, it didn’t take a single life, had no source, and vanished without smoke after the refinery had been burnt down.” The strangeness of the news sent a chilly sensation down my spine. It was indeed strange, I’d never heard about something like that. “What do you plan to do now?” I asked him softly, massaging the crease on his forehead, hoping it would disappear. “Would you investigate more about it?”

Reborn Through Fire

Reborn Through Fire

"Let me tell you something. Think of today as a lesson and stop trying to cause harm to me, because... you're no match for me." "You!" Sharon was furious. She wanted to cuss at Kisa. However, she was in pain from the grip on her chin, so she could not throw a deathly glare at her. Kisa chuckled, "This time, I'll let you go for Mr. Tanner's sake. Besides, I've recently been investigating the true perpetrator behind the fire. If I learn that you had something to do with the fire, then... Even God won't be able to save you."

if you are new reader to this novel, don't start. waste of time, author has no intention to conclude. even after all mysteries & conflict solved, they create new problems so the story never ends. gave 5* so this review won't be pushed behind
rodeo rod
author drags it too long. however, with all these happenings now, neverending failure of kisa, I hope author just make kisa die in the end, so Gilbert and Jensen will live suffering with regret. really,i hope kisa die with the baby, then it'll be worth it to read all these messy chapters. satisfyin

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Red Flame Demon Venerable used his Soul Essence Primordial Fire to refine at a speed more than ten times that of usual. If so, he could completely refine Caspian before the Demonic Beasts came. The Soul Essence Primordial Fire was definitely not an ordinary fire. It was closely related to the soul of the Red Flame Demon Venerable. He rarely used it before. Because once something went wrong, it would be a big trouble. The Red Flame Demon Venerable did not dare to gamble and did not care about the test. However, Red Flame Demon Venerable had no choice but to do so.

What happened to the original writer of this book? The new writer is a far cry from the first one in terms of style, creativity, dialogue and story telling. He has turned a once very arresting story into a very boring one. It is sad.

Everlasting Fire

Everlasting Fire

I asked, packing the room. "I think it's time we pay that little brother of yours a visit." He stated. I stopped in my tracks and turned to him. "He refuses to meet with us. He won't allow it." His lips spread into a wide grin exposing his perfectly white teeth. "And I wasn't asking." *** Thank you for reading Everlasting Fire. The third book, The Deadly one is out now.

Fire and Ice (The alliance Book 1)

Fire and Ice (The alliance Book 1)

I left the car door open in my haste to make it closer to the ensuing battle, calling forward Thalia as I ran and letting flames engulf me and I pulled my focus and balled up fire in my hands ready for use. As soon as I had an opening I hurled a fireball at the side of a northern wolf, and the shock seemed to freeze the battle for a moment as all eyes turned towards me. Using the distraction to my advantage I quickly shot off three more flames hitting my target each time with a force that caused them to stagger back before the burns registered and their screams broke the shock. Only now all the norther efforts were focused on me, thirty sets of glowing blue eyes as teeth were barred and mout

you know it's really disheartening to purchase the chapters of a book and find it's not finished and has not had an update in months. I believe that as customers, we should be reimbursed if the author is no longer going to update the story and finish it. I am very disappointed.

Loving this story! Lots of twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat. The author did have some issues updating for a month or so, but we all have IRL issues. Glad she is back! Can’t wait to see where she will lead us next!

Phoenix Cry

Phoenix Cry

I took my book and I lit my index finger with fire and tried burning the book. "They got us there". Zale said and sighed getting his own book and tried to toss it in the ocean. I stopped my fire and stopped him. "Well, as we are back to square one, let's just try to gather information from the northern part," I said and smiled at him. I put my book inside my bag again. It was pointless anyway, to burn the book. It is the book of origin, a book written by the Gods, it is protected from being harmed by anything, by anyone.

The Alpha King's One-Time Rejected Mate

The Alpha King's One-Time Rejected Mate

Listening not to emotion, but to intent. Lucian’s voice surfaced unbidden. Fire listens to rhythm. Don’t command it. Lead it. She inhaled slowly. The flame rose. She exhaled. It obeyed. By midmorning, fire threaded between her fingers in precise streams—controlled, sharp-edged. Not wild. Curious. Alive. “This is us,” she said quietly. “All of us.” The children pulsed in response—three distinct impressions brushing against her awareness. One steady. One volatile. One achingly gentle.

Choas and change

She read: “When all is ash, You are still altar. When the house falls, Your Spirit finds shelter. When they scatter us, You gather fire from the wind.” James exhaled. No applause. No spotlight. Just peace. The kind that doesn’t come from victory. The kind that only comes from surrender. End of Chapter 15🤭 •Chapter 16 – The Fire That Walks The Ember Ground had no walls, but it echoed like a temple. For seven days straight, they gathered the children of the slum, the weary souls, the angry, the hungry, the hopeless. They came not for spectacle, but because something burned here. Something not made by man.

Playing With Fire

But of course, we ran into a few hiccups while video calling at home. For example, we nearly got discovered by his mom. "Are you done with your homework, or are you reading comics again?" I looked at him in the video and saw that he was staring off into space. Upon closer inspection, there was an open comic book lying on the table next to him. However, when I yelled at him, Austin immediately whipped his head around and buried his nose into the revision books again. A short while later, he peeked at me again and gave me the saddest puppy-dog eyes.

Healing with the monster

Healing with the monster

Chapter 172 is the fire that burns in the dark, steady, unyielding, and impossible to extinguish. Julian tightened the last bolt on the frame with a sharp, resonant CLICK. Yusuf heaved the oilcloth crate onto his shoulder to meet the morning couriers, and Ibrahim stood beside the table as the first light of day filtered through the frost-rimmed grate. The press creaked, the chalk marked the slate, and the fire spread onward into the fog. Where would you like to take Chapter 173 next?
