The luna’s misery
My eyes… they weren’t my usual color anymore.
They glowed.
Bright and gold, with a thin rim of red around them,burning like fire trying to escape.
I froze, unable to look away. My whole body trembled, my pulse unsteady, my breath ragged. I didn’t know whether to scream or cry.
Something deep inside me laughed, softly, faintly,like a whisper echoing from far away.
And just like that, the glow faded.
I blinked rapidly, but the reflection was gone. My eyes were normal again. My skin, however, still shimmered faintly, pulsing with something alive beneath it.
