Bound by Voices
The mirror rippled — and her reflection smiled back at her.
Except she wasn’t smiling.
> “Stop it,” Mira hissed.
> “You’re remembering,” the reflection said. “That’s good.”
> “No, it’s not! I don’t want your memories!”
> “They’re already yours. The heart doesn’t care who it beats for.”
And before Mira could respond, the reflection whispered one last thing:
> “He loved the song, you know. Your husband.”
