7 Nights With My Step Brother's Rival

7 Nights With My Step Brother's Rival

Everything at once. Amara met them at the airport. "Welcome to my home. Prepare yourselves. This will be unlike anything you've experienced." She wasn't exaggerating. The first program visit. Refugee camp. Thousands of families. Displaced by Boko Haram violence. Lost everything. Living in tents. Surviving on aid. The kids were shocked. Silent. Processing. Seeing poverty they'd only imagined. Real. Immediate. Overwhelming. "How do people live like this?" Elena whispered. Thirteen years old. Sheltered. Privileged. Confronting reality she'd never known.

Despised But Desired by the Ruthless Alphas.

Despised But Desired by the Ruthless Alphas.

Damien and I watch from the upper floor as the stretchers arrive. Warriors are carried in on them, blood soaking their uniforms and smeared on their faces as their lips let out pain-filled sounds. Refugees trickle in too. Women and pups from the outpost towns and villages. Scared, wide-eyed, and crying as they clutch what little they could carry in small bags. Bits of conversation float in from below and my heart breaks as I listen to them. "The rogues appeared as if from thin air," one of the warriors says, wheezing as he clutches at the gash in his side.

Finding Myself

Finding Myself

I hear a few chuckles as my cheeks flush. "Yes ma'am," I mumble, turning my attention back to her. She's lecturing on the novel we've just started earlier this week. I've already read this novel, 'Of Mice and Men' so I zoned out on her lecturing. Drake smirks at me before turning his head forward.

Marked by the forbidden mate

Marked by the forbidden mate

It was small and remote, the kind of place where people went to disappear. "Where are we?" I asked. "The Refuge," Aeden said. "It's a settlement for rogues and exiles. People who've been cast out of their packs. People like us." "Will we be safe here?" "Safe?" He almost smiled. "No one is ever safe. But we'll be less hunted. That's something." The village was smaller than I'd expected. A dozen huts, a communal fire pit, a small garden that someone had tended with care. The people who lived there were wary at first, their eyes tracking our every move.

My Stepsister Returned To Rewrite Fate, But I Became Luna

My Stepsister Returned To Rewrite Fate, But I Became Luna

“Fucking hell! Bring me water!” One of the younger men moved and brought a bottle of our water. The rest of them made no effort to help. Luna Chloe making me assistant leader was practically for show. I did not have any real authority with these men. As I lifted the old man, I looked at Hannah. She was still brushing her gown, muttering something about his filthy hands. My jaw tightened but I swallowed my anger, carrying the man back to the tent that his fellow refugees showed me. Inside the tent, there was an old woman and a teenager. Once the woman saw us, he struggled to her feet. “Andrew,” she cried, trying to claw towards us.

The mute Alpha king’s chosen mate

The mute Alpha king’s chosen mate

"Are you alright?" Carlos nods as an answer, looking at both of us. "We have some... refugees. But they're not just refugees." "Who are they?" Diamond asks. "It's a woman named Ruth with a man named Henry. And they're with the old woman who tried to hurt Alice before. The one they called Nana."

Rejected Omega Princess: Meet My Overprotective Brothers

Rejected Omega Princess: Meet My Overprotective Brothers

Bloodthorn’s envoy left with the same arrogance she’d walked in with. The words she’d carried, the threats she’d wrapped in “truce” and “honor,” stayed behind like smoke. So did the fires. *** Refugees kept coming. Not in the flood from the first burned village, but in a steady trickle. Families with what little they could carry on their backs. Old men with haunted eyes. Children who flinched at loud noises. They all carried the same story.

Alpha Brock

Alpha Brock

The first two vans are carrying twenty-six refugees; the children, elderly, pregnant women, or those that are otherwise unable to fight. True to his word, Reid introduces me to the eight members of his pack that will be hosting members of my own, so I’ll know what direction to send my people in once they arrive based upon the list that Reid created. I’m terrible at remembering names, so I’ve gotta ask each of them multiple times before I get them down- and even then, I’m still blanking on one or two. I’ll definitely need Reid’s help for this. “They’re here!” one of the Stillwater residents announces, glancing out the large picture window in front of the packhouse. I think her name is Martha-

Love the book. I have reread the 6 pack series multiple times. I wish the author would release all the 6 pack series and the ones related to it for audio. It would make it much easier for those who have trouble seeing and those who have issues with reading.

Alpha Brock was awesome. I waited for this Alpha to get his mate and C.J. did not disappoint. Astrid and Brock are such a cute couple. I love the way all the books are tied together and we get to read about all our other favorite characters in each of the books. Another favorite in the 6 Pack series

HIS EX-LUNA HAS A SON

HIS EX-LUNA HAS A SON

As I held my daughter close, her tiny hand wrapping around my finger, I couldn't believe I had ever considered abandoning her, even for a second, even though I hated her mother with every fiber of my being. But that didn't make Sophia any less mine, any less precious. Madison wasn't fit to be a mother or a wife to anyone, she was a monster wearing pretty skin, and if Maxwell hadn't already dealt with her, I would have to do it myself. I walked past the refugees chilling outside the shelter in the open courtyard. Some of them were roasting marshmallows around a small campfire, the smell of smoke and sugar thick in the air, with kids laughing and chasing each other around them. It was almost n

Escaping The World: Lost in Book (book 1)

Escaping The World: Lost in Book (book 1)

Being caught as a rouge, alone, on pack territory signs your death certificate because the warriors kill first and ask questions later. Kimmy paces up and down the room while Nick and I continue watching cartoons. Kimmy's mate is one of the lead warriors so I understand her anxiety. I feel it about Aidan too. I'm very worried about him but I push it aside because my worry doesn't help anything. Instead I stand to make Kimmy a cup of tea. She smiles in thanks when I hand her the mug.
