She struggled slightly to get in and looked up at me somewhat embarrassed. “Short people problems”, she laughed shyly and shrugged her shoulders The moment she got in I got hit with the most intoxicating smell. It smelled like cinnamon and sugar mixed with something floral that I couldn’t quite recognize. Ajax started pacing in my head practically salivating over this girl we didn’t even know, who wasn’t even a werewolf, but a witch! What was his deal? “So Sierra, is it? Your dad tells me you’re in your senior year! That’s exciting”, my dad said breaking me from my own thoughts.

My wolf pressed against me, steadying me. The crackle softened. A single spark remained, glowing in my palm like a tiny star. Controlle and contained. I opened my eyes, trembling. The witch’s lips curved slightly. “Better.” Across the clearing, I caught Lucas’s face. His jaw was clenched so tight I thought it might crack. He looked like he wanted to rip me away, but he didn’t move. “Now release it,” the witch ordered. “How…” “Intend it, tell it to go.”

Alpha Gordons stood up and started pacing around the room. “Alpha I stumbled upon a book in the Pack’s archive hidden by one of your ancestors and it was tagged Do witches still exist? The book was not there for decoration, there was a reason your ancestors must have dropped it. I read the book and the information I gathered was too good to be true. Alpha, Witches still exist in our world today and based on that book, the author predicted that the few which exist would want to inhabit any land they came across.” The Pack doctor finished leaving the Alpha speechless.

I mumbled as I got down on my knees and took the locket off my neck and placed it on the book. Now the book was truly beginning to shake and tremble. I could feel the dark energy trying to throw us all away. “Please don’t let go, hold onto it!!!” I screamed and the alphas ordered everybody to plant their feet firmly on the ground. Dark fumes began to rise out of the book and the witch realized that her source of power was in danger. She let go of her game of hide and seek and came flying towards me. In an instant, she had her fingers curled around my throat as she took me high in the air.

I tightened my grip, reaching out, searching for Gilly’s wolf, hoping I could overpower the witch. “Get out of her,” I growled, feeling the connection snap into place. I pushed harder, deeper, using Ru to pull Gilly free from the witch’s grasp. Gilly’s body shook, her head thrashing from side to side as the witch fought back. I could feel the resistance, the dark energy swirling around us, but I didn’t stop. I wouldn’t stop until Gilly was free. After what felt like an eternity, Gilly’s body went limp, her head falling forward as the last of the witch’s influence was torn away. She was free, but she was weak. Her eyes filled with tears, and sobs wracked her body.

Alpha Gordons stood up and started pacing around the room in fury. “Alpha, I stumbled upon a book in the Pack’s archive hidden by one of your ancestors and it was tagged Do witches still exist? The book was not there for decoration, there was a reason your ancestors must have kept it safe. I read the book in and out, and the information I garnered was too good to be true. Alpha, Witches still exist in our world today and based on that book, the author predicted that the few which exist would want to inhabit any land they come across.” The Pack doctor left the Alpha, SPEECHLESS.

Even though he seems fine,” I mused, redirecting my gaze to the copied pages of the book. You know?" " Uh, I was exploring and I think I definitely discovered something else regarding you." Let you proceed to unzip your backpack to take a thick book out of it. I closed my eyes as I skimmed the title in bright letters on the dark cover: The Insider Thoughts of the Salem Witches. witches ?" he muses intriguedly and raised an eyebrow. Jorfit laughs apprehensively. Try not to judge me,” he asks me, then, at that moment, he opens the book between the pages where a bookmark sits.

She said as she got up and moved back towards her lair as she now ran her fingers over the books on the shelves. “Three is no problem.” Alpha Reese tells her, and I find hope knowing that this might work with his connections. The Witch then finds the book she was looking for and she moves towards the table with it as she begins to flip through the pages until she finds what she is looking for and places a bookmark on the page. “If you have the Sun Witches, they will need this to stop them.” She said as she hands me the book since I was the closest to her. She then looked at Alpha Conner and said, “If there’s more like you, I would keep them away from all this so not to feed the fire that has

The witch was sitting cross-legged on a meditation cushion in the main part of her little shop, her eyes closed and her hands resting palms-up on her knees. Elijah and I hesitated, not sure if we should interrupt her or not. “Back so soon?” she asked without opening her eyes. “And with gifts, I see.” Elijah and I exchanged glances, but he cleared his throat. “We need your help. Again.” She cracked one eye open, then the other, and stared at the book in my hands. “Of course you do. Give it to me.” She held one hand out. At a nod from Elijah, I stepped forward and gave her the book. “There are pages missing,” I explained. “Pages that might have information about the spell that’s binding my wol
