Resensi Novel Anak Semua Bangsa

Setelah suamiku meninggal karena kecelakaan, aku mengelola restoran kecil untuk membesarkan anakku. Sehari sebelum pernikahan anakku, aku tiba-tiba menang lotre senilai 160 miliar. Aku merasa sangat senang. Aku berencana menjual restoranku dan memulai kehidupan pensiunku. Siapa sangka, saat aku menelepon putraku untuk memberitahunya rencanaku, calon menantu yang selalu bersikap sopan tiba-tiba menjadi galak. "Kamu harap kami menghidupimu ya? Kami baru kerja dua tahun. Kami nggak punya uang untukmu!" Calon menantuku juga mengancam putraku, "Kalau kamu berani memberi uang kita pada ibumu, aku bakal batalkan pernikahan ini!" Aku merasa sangat lega. Aku pun berniat mentransfer 40 miliar kepada putraku supaya dia bisa berbisnis. Keesokan hari, aku malah mendapat panggilan yang memberitahuku bahwa putraku mengalami kecelakaan. Butuh 1 miliar untuk menyelamatkan nyawanya. Aku langsung mentransfer uang itu, tetapi putraku tidak berada di rumah sakit. Saking paniknya, aku pergi ke kota tempat putraku tinggal dengan menerjang badai. Ketika menemukan putraku, ternyata dia sedang mengadakan acara pernikahan di hotel. Putraku berlutut kepada cinta pertama suamiku dan memanggilnya ibu saat bersulang. Mengejutkannya, yang duduk di sampingnya adalah suamiku yang meninggal sepuluh tahun lalu!

Keluarga utuh disertai kehadiran buah hati adalah impian semua pasangan. Pun dengan Zana dan Haikal. Pasangan suami istri itu sudah sejak lama merindukan celoteh manja dari bibir mungil seorang bayi sebagai buah dari pernikahan mereka. Lebih dari dua tahun menikah, Zana tak kunjung hamil, membuat Haikal memilih rahim lain untuk menghadirkan buah hati untuknya.  Memasuki tahun ketiga pernikahan, Haikal. Tak sampai di situ, anak yang ia rawat dengan penuh kasih sejak bayi itu tak lain adalah buah dari pengkhianatan suaminya.
