"You aren't taking me back alive!" Rachel shouted. Just then Rachel transforms into her wolf. Jared does the same. They fight and he rips her throat out. Brady stands watching it all. Dax realizes that Brady just witnessed their secret. "Brady?" Dax asked. "What the actual fuck??" Brady demanded. "I can explain." Dax replied. "Yeah, ok." Brady scoffed. "We're all werewolves." Dax explained. "No shit! Ya think?" Brady retorted. "Does mom know? Is she one also?"

But how can I truly know? I caught a glimpse of Roxy’s reflection in the window when I was pretending to be asleep. She’s got a definite bad girl look to her, but she’s very pretty. There are definitely plenty of guys out there who would be happy to make her theirs. And she and Saxon have history. How am I supposed to compete with that? “Hey, did that beer end up on Mars or something?” an annoyed voice, like metal on metal, calls out from beside me. I glance three stools down and see Rick, a regular who likes to really knock ‘em back, glaring at me with bloodshot eyes.

screams Nix. Xavier seems to be okay. I ran towards Alpha Rick as fast as my leg would allow me to. He is not far away from Eden when I growl behind him. That seemed to have gotten his attention. He turned to face me. “She needs to die for what she did,” he said in a disgusted tone. He went to turn around. I growled at him. He knows he won’t be able to make it to summer if I attack. I saw something move behind him, but I kept my focus on his face. Then he shouts out and the pointed end of a blade appears through his stomach.

there was a hint of confidence in his voice when he mentioned his own name. "Xavier? Like Xavier from... I'm sorry, sir. Are you somehow related to the late Romano Xavier, the one who owns RX Corp?" The police seemed hesitant to ask Ricky that question. Well, I knew they were guessing the truth. But what was with those nervous expressions on their faces now? "Yes," Ricky gave a short answer and instantly the two police officers looked down, scared to meet his gaze. Was he above the law now? Okay, now I knew this was totally not normal. Ricky is not just a normal person in this city.

Noah questions and Morty just scoffs at that. With in seconds Morty falls down to the ground screaming in pain, clutching his leg. " Ahh you broke my leg. " He screams. Noah kicked right on his knee producing a cracking sound. Before Morty can even get up, Noah puts his shoe on Morty's crotch and starts applying pressure slowly. " Think of me and the things I can do to you before you even think of touching her. " Noah warns, and then kicks him where the sun doesn't shine.

Livie’s POV The rest of the morning, Molly, Selene, and I talked. Mostly them, but still. I learned that Rick also lost his mom through a rogue attack. He and Molly were just weeks old when that happened, so they have absolutely no memory of her. If it weren't for pictures his dad kept, they would have never learned what she looked like, but from what Molly tells me, she was beautiful.

The two sat in silence in the corridor. “How are you?” Xavier asked. Axel didn’t reply to the question. Far from being alright, he had driven around the city all night, then stopped at the bridge and just stood there, contemplating for a while, tempted for a moment to dive in. But he held it in; he hadn’t seen the end of everything yet. “When last did you hear from Rick?” Axel asked, gesturing to Xavier’s wolf. Xavier shrugged. “The day that place collapsed and Derrick died.

I growled angrily and elbowed him as I jumped up and kicked him back. "I'm not interested and will only allow Rogue such liberties," I mumbled sourly before kicking his side. Rogue looked at me and laughed seeing Mortas lying on the ground holding his gut. "Told you to watch yourself, Morty," he chuckled as he came and circled my waist with his arm and kissed my temple.

She sat up straight and bore holes at her house master. Xavier, without even looking, turned a page leisurely. "Sweetheart, if you keep staring at me like that, I might start blushing." Miriam didn't take the bait. "Why the fuck do you need an antidote for ricin?" Xavier didn't lift his head. Instead, he let out a low chuckle, the kind that was more amused than surprised. "Miriam, Miriam, Miriam..." He finally folded the magazine and set it down on his lap, tapping his fingers against the glossy cover.

My father and Chris broke off and started to have a deep conversation in the room’s corner, while the rest of us waited. I looked at Ronnie to find him already watching me. “You okay?” He settled next to me in my father’s seat that he had just vacated. “You look sad…what happened?” Thoth turned. “What happened with Rick and everyone last night? Were you able to save his pup?” I sat back so I could see both men and nodded. “It was hard. But I was able to save everyone.”
