Novel & Cerita Riddle Me This/book

I read that riddle though I am not sure of what it really means. Mysteries? Clarity? Eternity? Who is this book even referring to in the first place? I then turn it to the next page and saw a weird circular thing drawn into it. A… Spell? Maybe a magic circle? I look at my surroundings and saw no posible paper for me to draw. How I regret not bringing my things. What I have in me is but a piece of pen for me to write. I didn't even think of bringing my paper notes with me since I didn't planned to stay in this shelf in the first place.

She grabbed a thick book and pulled it off the shelf before returning to her seat. She placed the book on the coffee table in front of me so I could see it. My eyes widened when I saw the gorgeous purple and white designs on the book with dark purple lettering that read: Spell Book. “A spell book?” I gasped, running my fingers down the front cover. “Is this real?” She nodded.

A cloud of dust billowed out, and I realized that I was holding a book. “What is this?” “It’s Alice’s journal. I believe it contains the answers you are looking for.”

I bring out the book and open it to prove her wrong, wondering what the hell is going on. "See? Words?" "That is what you see! Not what I see?" She brings our her phone and then takes a picture of the page I opened and then shows it to me. Fucking hell! "It's not—there is nothing there... On the picture..." I glance back at the book, "But it is on here." My hands are trembling as I lift my gaze back to Beryl. Something is wrong, I am absolutely confused. if this book is blank and hidden with acient magic as Beryl calls it and I can read it then something is definitely wrong.

When my shift ended, I found myself walking toward the corner table where Kael sat, his laptop closed now, a book in his hands.
