Pucked On Ice

Pucked On Ice

For the rest of the drive, we stayed like that, our hands linked, wind in our hair, the open road stretching ahead of us. I didn’t know what the future held for us, but in that moment, I was just happy I could be the one sitting beside him. We drove for a while longer until the road opened up to a quiet, secluded beach. There was no one else around, just the gentle sound of waves, golden sand, and the sun beginning its slow descent toward the horizon. The sky was painted in soft oranges and pinks. “Should we stop here?” I asked. Riven nodded, a small peaceful smile on his face. “Yes. I’d love to watch the sunset.”

I Am Mustafin

I Am Mustafin

The gentle hum of the SUV’s engine vibrates through the leather seat as Alek drives us down the winding road ahead. I’m nestled in the back beside Efrem, Tavin maintaining his vigilant watch from the passenger seat. My eyes are drawn to the window, mesmerized by the approaching sunset. The sky is a canvas of deep oranges and soft pinks that blend seamlessly into the approaching twilight. It’s beautiful, yet melancholic—a fitting backdrop given the circumstances.

Falling for a Phantom in Time

Falling for a Phantom in Time

The sweet, bitter taste melted on my tongue, exactly like that rainy night. The sunset dyed the valley golden. A faint sigh seemed to drift upon the wind. It carried the scent of sunlight. It felt like a phantom kiss brushing against my forehead. "Goodbye." I smiled and stood, brushing off the dust. The off-road vehicle roared to life, kicking up dust as it sped toward the distant horizon. This time, I didn't look back. I just kept moving forward.

he replies with a mischievous smile. We stop by the water's edge, the waves gently caressing our feet. We look out at the vast ocean before us, and I can't help but feel like we are on the brink of a new chapter in our lives. The sun finally dips below the horizon, leaving behind a trail of soft colors that slowly fade into the night. We walk back towards the resort, the sky now sprinkled with stars, each one a tiny beacon of hope and love. The drive may have come to an end, but the memories we've created will stay with us forever.

Jane Chunli
Nice story so far. Keep it up author but I think author should improve in her tenses and grammar. The story is nice one, I like the way she gave glimpses of what would happen in the story in the future. Nice book and story line author, keep it up. But Michael seemed pompous for my liking.
Anie Angel
The story is great, the way you portrayed how your closed one (best friend ) can turn into a foe with time, how in one second everything changes and it hurts when you know you are right but no one trusts you. Well done btw, good luck

Lie a Little

Lie a Little

after getting ready he drove away from the tattoo shop. I raised both of my hands and feel the wind. Freedom, it's an expensive thing for us. we then reach our usual spot. A cliff, sunset, and what freedom looks like. We stopped there and I pull the helmet to see the sunset better, I then glance at him as I felt his hands intertwined in mine, I smiled before leaning my hands on his shoulders. We watch the sunset together, the comforting silence and the beauty in front of us were magical. No words were needed, this serenity was all we ever have. I smiled sadly as I look at the ocean.

Claimed By My Ex's Rival Hockey Captain

Claimed By My Ex's Rival Hockey Captain

Bailey POV The sun melts into the ocean painting the sky in shades of amber and rose that I've never seen anywhere else. We're sitting on the upper deck of the yacht, my back against Orion's chest, his arms wrapped loosely around me as we watch the last of the light bleed into the horizon. "I don't think I've ever seen anything that beautiful," I whisper. Sunsets in Michigan or Chicago ain't this beautiful. Orion's lips brush against my temple. "I haven't looked at the sunset once," he murmurs. "I've been looking at you."

Sophie:The broken Mistress

Sophie:The broken Mistress

Rhys stood on the edge of the cliff and watched as the evening’s warmth began to wane and the countryside underwent a tranquil transformation. The sky, a kaleidoscope of pinks, purples, and oranges, slowly deepens into a soft twilight blue. The sun, a burning ember, had now dipped below the horizon, casting a gentle glow across the rolling hills and verdant fields.

The Warrior Queen Returns

The Warrior Queen Returns

I was still coming down from the interaction with Harrison, and I was afraid my tone might upset Killian, but he just laughed. I loved that I could be myself around him. I didn’t have to have a filter. I could make whatever joke, whatever snarky statement I wanted. He never took it personally. I watched as he slid the seat back a mile and half just so he could breathe again, and then we were off. The sun was going down. It was dusky as he pulled us out onto the empty street. He turned towards the hills that surrounded the city, and we were off. As we broke the first hill, I couldn’t help but gasp at the sight of the sunset. It painted the sky with brilliant shades of orange, red, and purple.

I Am Done Being Your Doormat, Alpha

Emma The sun was starting to set, which painted the sky with orange light. Looking at the view outside the window, we were getting close to the pack entrance of the Dark Desert Pack. Though it was still a bit far, I knew I had to get out before we got any closer. That’s when I made up my mind. “Please pull over to the side,” I uttered. Ken turned to me for a moment before getting back on the road. “Are you sure you want to get off here? It’s still a bit far.”

TOO LATE TO REGRET, EX-HUSBAND

TOO LATE TO REGRET, EX-HUSBAND

The past was at rest, and the future belonged entirely to the light. By six o'clock in the evening, the sun began its gorgeous descent over the ocean, painting the horizon in shades of deep lavender, rose gold, and soft copper. Vivian drove back to the Sinclair estate, stepping out into the cool evening air. The pleasant sound of Emma's cheerful laughter echoed from the back garden, mixed with Arthur's deep, warm chuckles.
