He bummed a fist on the table, "I'm gonna find this bitch and make her pay!" Ryan finished up his coffee, washed up the coffee maker and the mug, he moved on into his bedroom took off his boxers and jumped into the shower, he took his bath and put on a blue pair of jean trousers, a white shirt and a black leather jacket. He added a black pair of dress shoes and looked himself in the mirror, he sprayed some Dove hair spray onto his hair, he combed his hair to his taste and took one last look at the mirror, he grinned and nodded with satisfaction.

“One of Veyrus’s.” She dismounted slowly. Her wolves spread out around her, forming a loose half-circle. The priest smiled. “So the daughter comes.” Racheal didn’t flinch. “You’re trespassing on neutral ground.” The priest laughed softly. “There is no neutral ground anymore. Not when the blood of gods flows again.” He stepped down from the altar. “We gave mercy. We gave warning. You answered with steel and moonlight.” “You slaughtered innocents.” “They were blessed by the wrong god.”

He sighs heavily, resigning himself, and starts eating again. “So, here’s how it goes,” I begin, my voice flat, devoid of emotion, because that’s how you have to approach it. “The prey are dressed in specific outfits, and they’re released with a five-minute head start to hide. After those five minutes are up, the hunters begin searching. The rules are simple: the hunters don’t have to kill the prey. They can just torment and torture them. But even if the prey survives being found once, it doesn’t mean they’ll live. If they’re found again, it could mean death.”

he repeated each word trembling, as if saying it enough will make it true. “Would you have preferred they kill you instead,” I demand coldly. “Do you want to go back to being the victim everyone steps on.. then get out of my sight,” I hissed. “Having such high morals won't get you anywhere in this world. The world is made up of monsters and prey. Either you are the prey or you become the monster. There is no in-between.” I released my collar from his grip. “If you want to remain the prey then go. But I assure you. There's no place for a prey in this world.”
