Annabelle “These are all the documents?” I ask before grabbing the large envelope from the forger. I watch his beady eyes scan me as I open it and examine each one to make sure he isn’t trying to deceive me, but the crook is telling the truth. I sigh in relief. Everything I need to become the Dragon King’s surrogate is here: A new birth certificate, a fake lineage line, and a fake certificate of noble blood to boot- the most important one I need.

They kissed under the rain for a while before Aria pulled away. "If you ever move on without me, I want you to know that you're the only one I'll ever love." *** PRESENT DAY... Aria's thoughts were lost in a sea of memories when a sudden deep voice broke through her reverie. "Are you alright?" Startled, she spun around to face a tall, imposing figure with the deepest blue eyes she had ever seen. His long hair was intricately braided into three large cornrows, adding to his aura of strength. Clad in a green vest that hugged his muscular chest, he stood before her, his presence commanding attention. Aria momentarily forgot her manners as she found herself captivated by the chiselled features o

Sora closed his eyes, took a deep breath in, and shifted as he exhaled. Ezra gasped when he saw Sora in his true form. Sora's scales were cream, tan, and gold, with charcoal gray accents along his spine and down the length of his tail. He was the color of a royal Omega Dragon, the same color as his Dad's dragon.

That better be just showing! "Dragons come from eggs. You can tell by his dark scales he is a Night dragon. When he's older he'll be able to hide Dmitri in shadows as well as the darkness." Toma let out a playful growl from the attention and looked back at me. "You want to pet this little guy?" "He won't bite me, will he?" Milo asked cautiously, starting to look excited.

I wished I had an ally against David, but I couldn’t risk Everett becoming a threat. “What are the dragons planning to do with you, exactly?” I’d been wondering if she knew. The way her gaze searched the rain seemed as though I’d struck a nerve. “You know that certain rituals can be performed using the body parts of other shifters’ beasts. Werewolf fur, dragon scales… unicorn horns.” Muriel’s demeanor darkened. “Our horns are a well of magic that some shifters can tap into to strengthen themselves. Certain rituals supposedly incur the blessings of the Gods, who can bestow that magic on us so we achieve our highest potential. We can become a hybrid of our human and beast forms, accessing each

"What do you mean?" "Remember that he's a Chimaera? The dragon, the demon and the lightbearer" "Oh. Does the dragon have a name?" I asked."Yeah, they all do. Szyrus is the dragon, Abaddon is the demon" "I actually don't know if I should be freaking out or not" I said."Relax, princess"Ric had shifted into his true form and he was just like Amyra, except he had four horns instead of two, his fangs were longer and he was bigger than Amyra. I clenched my fist, my nails digging into my palm as Ric and Liam fought. Theo on the other hand, seemed to be enjoying himself and it was only pissing Amyra off even more. Knowing that she couldn't beat Theo while in her beast form, she shifted back to her f

I rub my cheek along him and a rumble comes from him that sends all sorts of tingles through me. As I turn my head to the other side I see Dragus shifting into his dragon form just as big as Darian's but silver instead of gold, the same piercing eyes looking back at me, he moves slowly towards me just as cautious as Darian, when he reaches me, he does the same as his brother and runs his head along my other side with a rumble of his own. I wrap my body around him as he brings his head back. He gives me a toothy grin that I all but return.

Sergeant Miller dragged a militia member with a corroded wound backward. I took a deep breath. We could not retreat. I took off my jacket and stood bare-chested on the highest point of the reef. At that moment, I pushed the Dragon Lord talent to its limit. Golden light surged from my chest and spread through my blood vessels across my body. Faint scale patterns appeared on my skin, and my eyes turned into vertical pupils. Half-dragon form, unlocked ahead of schedule. "Break." Golden pressure swept outward from me like a tangible storm.

Andrius roared at the sky, his eyes full of determination and courage. It was just going against the heavens. There was nothing to fear. Just as he spoke... Rumble! The first thunderbolt, which had been brewing for a long time, fell toward him. The somber gray sky that had been silent for a long time flashed with a grim crack, and the purple divine thunder struck Andrius precisely. The moment the thunder fell, Andrius shouted, “Rise! Dragon Elephant Form!” Countless ripples suddenly floated around his body. It was the manifestation of his inner energy reaching its limit.

My voice echoed around the room and I heard the dragon’s low chuckle. He emerged from the shadows and suddenly we were outside, in the open with the dark night sky above us. His eyes had a murderous glint in them and I watched his spiked tail. The dragon was gray, like mine and I almost felt sorry for the illusion. I ran straight toward him and he moved his body sideways as his tail swept across the ground and lifted at the last second to strike me full in the chest. I was on his tail and ran up towards his back as his tail swished around and he turned his head to get a look at me.
