From Roses to Ashes

From Roses to Ashes

It moved farther and farther from the cemetery on the hillside, and farther away from all the love and hatred buried beneath Sicily's soil. Daisy leaned against Caleb's shoulder and looked out the window. The hillsides were covered in blooming irises. The warm breeze never felt better. Her new life had only just begun.

Bloodied Ashes

Bloodied Ashes

As if she had already chosen the world she wanted to live in. I rose. My knees left prints in the mud, half filled by the river’s edge. When I stood, the cold air pulled me back into myself. The moon trembled across the surface, broken by current. The ash began to move downstream, slow and gleaming, as if the river itself was carrying the dead toward whatever waited for them. I turned away and followed the sound of fire rising in the distance. Kael (POV) The ash came first.

Rise of the Phoenix

Rise of the Phoenix

I know this little dragon doesn’t have to die, not when the power of the Phoenix is resurrection. I watch as the earth dragon pulls heat from the center of the earth, burning his son’s body and then the air dragon lifts his ashes into the sky. Emmi sits back in her mind and watches while I collect Iniko’s ashes from the sky pulling them to the area where my fire burned. The area that is now hot enough to hatch dragon eggs. While the others grieve, I take his ashes and pull them into the glass that was created by my fire. I seal his ashes and his essence into the shape of an egg. Then, I watch as the ashes begin to regrow and reform, coming to life again.

Cooper truly never misses. Each story genuinely is better than the last, with each story truly being amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed reading Emmi & Ajax’s story and the creativity/thoughtfulness that went into writing it. So excited for Kenna/Yhens story, finally! As always, amazing job, author! :)

I loved every single book till now. I love how you include everyone in the story. it gives the scenes a bit of everyone's perspective but the main characters are always clear. Please let us know when taming the fire dragon comes out. it's already mid August......

Rising From The Ashes (Book 2 of the Blood Moon Saga)

Rising From The Ashes (Book 2 of the Blood Moon Saga)

She says hugging into me, i take the card from her hands and i open the door then hand it back to her, when i know she's protected I engulf my body in flames and I swing open the door, lines and lines of salt sat across my path, dark mountains ash was glued to the floor. I imagine in the hopes that nobody could break the barrier by accident. Taking a nervous breath I step over it, as I do the salt, the mountain ash and the glue burns to a crisp, breaking the barrier and allowing us to leave.

Rising from the ash

Rising from the ash

"Please, Ryan, don't do this. He's your son! Please, don't take this from me!" But Ryan's mind was filled with anger and betrayal. He opened the urn and began to pour the ashes onto the ground. "No!" Sophia wailed, her cries echoing through the cemetery. She lunged forward, her hands clawing at the ashes as they scattered. The gray powder clung to her hair and skin, mixing with her tears as she wept uncontrollably. She pressed her head to the ground, her body trembling with sorrow. "My baby," she sobbed, her voice barely audible. "I’m so sorry… I’m so sorry…"

RISING FROM THE ASHES

RISING FROM THE ASHES

She stretched her limbs and turned around in bed before finally sitting up. The early morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a gentle glow in the room. With a determined look in her eyes, Liya rose from the bed and headed straight to the shower. The sound of the water cascading down was like a soothing melody, filling the bathroom with a comforting rhythm. Liya let the warm water wash over her, relaxing her tense muscles and soothing her mind. Each drop seemed to carry away the weight of the previous days' worries, leaving her feeling refreshed and renewed.

Rising From the Ashes of Betrayal

Rising From the Ashes of Betrayal

I had no interest in listening to him any longer. “Didn’t you say your arm was gone? It looks perfectly intact to me.” As soon as I finished speaking, his other arm thudded to the ground as well. Amid his agonized screams, parts of his body were torn away piece by piece until he was reduced to nothing, executed in the cruelest way possible. With my vengeance complete, an indescribable sense of satisfaction filled me. Queenie Aasen, who once cared for the world and acted with selfless righteousness, was gone.

BOUND TO THE BLOOD KING

BOUND TO THE BLOOD KING

Ash smiled slowly, reverent and pressed her palm into the torch’s flame. The skin sizzled. She didn’t flinch. “She made me in her image,” Ash whispered, voice trembling with reverence and rage. “And then she tried to bury what she’d created.” Her gaze lifted to the blackened cross still hanging above the altar. “But daughters always rise from their mother’s bones.” The crowd roared. Chanting her name. Ash. Ash. Ash. And from the smoke-filled rafters, the first snow of burning ash fell soft as blessing, cruel as prophecy.

Alpha’s Claimed Mate.

Alpha’s Claimed Mate.

They stood there, the weight of grief still clinging to the edges of the night, but something else beginning to grow—resolve, like roots breaking through stone. “Do you think we’ll survive this?” she asked. Asher didn’t answer right away. Then he turned toward her and placed a hand on her waist. “I don’t know,” he said. “But we’ll fight like hell trying.” And far off, unseen but surely coming, smoke curled above the treetops of another distant town. **** The conference room on the top floor of Nightshade Power Inc. was all glass and tension. The skyline of Ravens Peak spread out beyond the wide windows, glowing faintly beneath the overcast sky.

My Alpha From Hell

My Alpha From Hell

He was searching the ground looking for her body, when - A glowing figure slowly emerged from within the falling ashes. Ambrose turned toward them, getting up from the ground and unsheathing his sword. He had no idea exactly what had risen from the ashes. The pheonix had always been described as a creature. Had something taken over Sephora's body? He didn't know. But when the figure finally came into focus, Ambrose's breath caught in his throat, and his heart gave a twist of pain.
