My father says. "Well, at least I know you did not have anything to do with the deaths of Borris and Bianca, Father. I will go and talk to Maureen and her parents now," I say. I get up, walk out the door, and walk to the Brown's house. Martin answers the door as soon as I knock. He shows me that we must first talk outside before I go inside. We walk around the house into the woods. We find an opening and sit down, looking at the river. We are called the Red River Pack because of this river that flows through our grounds. Early in the morning, the river shines red when the sun starts to show its head. That is why we call the river the Red River.

The Last Luna

The Last Luna

River The awards ceremony after the tournament was the least of River's concerns. He had a few minutes to go to the restroom and splash some water on his face and wash off the blood from the wound in his neck. The healer had bandaged him up pretty good, and it wasn't hurting any more, thanks to his wolf genes' super healing abilities. So at least he didn't have to worry about that. But while he was in the bathroom, looking in the mirror, he had to ask himself a question.

Riptide

Riptide

I replied as vibrations ran along my leg and I relocated my right hand to my pocket grabbing my phone allowing her to move into the shower. "Bro," I called out watching as she slid the shower door open going inside before closing it once more. "Taj just told me the heat moved up north," he announced as continued to stare at her blurry silhouette the love I felt for her flowing freely. "With the Vipers?" I asked frowning as the water sounded around the room. "Yeah, Britt's neighbourhood is safe again," he confirmed leaving me constricted between feelings as hushed voices sounded over the line letting me know he was busy.

Aina: mated to 7 Alphas

Aina: mated to 7 Alphas

The air was alive with the sounds of jubilation and celebration as thousands of human inhabitants streamed back into their beloved riverine city. My gaze shifted to the river that flowed through the heart of Binnanlester, its tranquil waters reflecting the crimson hues of the moon that still held its ethereal presence in the daytime sky. It was a reminder of the trials we had faced, the sacrifices we had made, and the indomitable spirit that had guided us through the darkest of times.

RED STRING

RED STRING

Clarrise did a good job in doing her hair. "You're so good, Ayla. See? You did great!" Clarrised said, praising her. "Thank you, girls. I would have done without you." She smiled warmly. It's the last day of the festival. The people all gathered in the river for the final part. Before midnight the people of Ashwood will light up a lantern as an offering to the Moon Goddess and the High Priestess of Preousia and they will let it float into the water. When we reached the river my eyes instantly found Lucien and he was holding two lanterns. He gave me the other lantern and Ayla and Clarrise went to the triplets. I also spotted Nereza and Markus holding their lanterns.

Redeemed By The Alpha

Redeemed By The Alpha

They simply told us to get ready so he can start walking down to the stream perhaps, for a good time. The stream was not as far as I had anticipated initially. Within minutes that we had left, we found ourselves right there. "Ladies and gentlemen!" Began the Alpha with some sense of humour. "I give you the hot spring of life," he pointed to the source of the water in the spring. Their water had a pool quite deep and as pure as anything. The neatness of the water can be measured by its high transparency. One can easily see the Beautiful bottom of the spring while standing above it. Different small fish can be seen swimming happily and undisturbed. The pool had about four sources from which wa

Redemption’s Sweet Surprise

Redemption’s Sweet Surprise

The report came from the middle of the Atlantic, from no human source. The action was simply logged as: “Pattern Integrity: Achieved. Gratitude.” We had reached the end of the road we’d begun on a desperate, snow-blind night so long ago. The redemption was no longer a surprise, but a harvest. The sweet, enduring yield of a love that had refused to give up on a broken world, and had, against all odds, taught it how to mend.

Redemption: The president's second Chance

Redemption: The president's second Chance

I exclaimed in surprise. "Mrs. Russo," Little Nine said, but his expression quickly changed, and he apologized, "I am sorry, Ms. Leah." I waved at him and said, "No, it's okay. Why don't you come in?" I opened the door and let him in, passing him a glass of water. "How are you doing? What about Little Red?" I asked. Little Nine collected the water and said, "He is fine. He was sent to the mining ground by the master last year and is expected to be back maybe in the next hundred years."

Lake Creek

Lake Creek

She took a step back and began to choke. Water. She was drowning. She fought and fought but something was keeping her head underwater. In desperation, she pushed and was finally able to breathe in air. She gasped and coughed till her sore throat threatening to bleed open. Opening her eyes, she saw that she was still on the path. Misery.... Vulnerability.... Despair....

The Secretly Rich Man

The Secretly Rich Man

Either way, even the mentally strong Ryder found his eyes widening in shock as he leaped to his feet while exclaiming, “…G-Gerald…?! You’re not dead?!” Ryder was rightfully flabbergasted. After all, he knew the Red River’s destructive capabilities more than anyone else. Regardless of how high one’s cultivation was, the second they came into contact with the Red River, they’d surely be vaporized right down to the soul! With that in mind, anyone unfortunate enough to be killed by the river would no longer be able to reincarnate! “I’m more alive than I’ve ever been! Honestly, it’s thanks to you that I ended up getting blessed!” retorted Gerald with a smirk.

It's a good book as far as I have read so far. I'm getting discouraged, though. I'm running out of patience and time for these types of stories. "Neverending" stories where some chapters repeat themselves for some reason or other drives me bunkers. Just saying. I prefer shorter stories.
