The Haunting of Thomas Gardens

The Haunting of Thomas Gardens

Brian took a deep breath and the started with his rehearsed speech. “I want to thank all of you for taking this meeting with me. As you all know, my brothers and I have asked for assistance with clearing Thomas River. Our initial dive was to clear the reeds that have been growing in the river, but the dive brought up some unexpected results. We have discovered numerous cars and other vehicles in the river, and we have concluded that with the current weather it poses a high risk not only for the Thomas Property, but for Buttershire as well.

Rain's Rebellion

Rain's Rebellion

Mist asked, resituating herself as the boat hit another rough patch in the water. “You’ll see,” Seth replied. “Just know we’ll be safe from the Mothers once we get away from the Red River.” “What did you call it?” Adam asked, not sure if he’d heard wrong or Seth had said something unexpected. “The Red River,” Seth repeated. “Why? What do you call it?” “We call it the River Red,” Mist said. “That’s what we’ve always called it.” She shrugged. “Same difference, I guess.” “I guess,” Seth said, scratching his chin. “But I think it’s just another way the Mothers manipulate everyone. Everything has to be different, even the name of the damn river.”

My Rejected Billionaire Luna Wife

My Rejected Billionaire Luna Wife

“We’re the only race of water wolf, that we know of. We have a deep connection to our mother river, the Red River.” The women took in the beauty of the red river as it flowed by. From the bank, the river was a life force all of its own, a force to be reckoned with. It looked calm on the surface, but underneath, the currents swelled. The heat of the summer night was cut by the crisp, cool breeze off the river. The sound of the water flowing was hypnotic. Amelia felt at peace, with her best friends beside her, and the majestic red river flowing by. “Okay, everyone hold hands and make a wish for Lily,” Amelia said. “I’ll go first. I wish her love.”

HER DAUGHTER'S REJECTED MATE

HER DAUGHTER'S REJECTED MATE

THE RIVER OF TONGUES Arrival at Rivenmouth Twilight descends as Ceres and Xavier arrive at the edge of a narrow gorge hidden beneath the western cliffs. The wind howls eerily between jagged rocks, and the scent of sulfur hangs in the air. The Temple of Rivenmouth looms ahead, carved into the mountain's mouth like a beast frozen mid-roar. Between them and the temple lies a slow, glowing river—its current an unnatural hue, pulsing like blood beneath flame.

Alpha's Bad Romance

Alpha's Bad Romance

Taking in a sharp breath, he sat down on the bed of the brook and watched the water flowing around him. As the black heavens kept a watch with its eyes in the form of stars over the jungle, the brook flowed onwards to meet her destiny… the ocean. The brook chattered around him, carrying leaves that became boats and twigs. Feeling a little better, Ryder closed his eyes and then submerged in the water. Minutes later, he felt small fish gathering around his wounds, peeling away the abraded skin, removing the thorns and tickling his skin. He relaxed a great deal. When he came out, he smoothed his hair back, as his shoulder and back muscles rippled under his skin. Ryder walked out of the brook. H

Excellent! I’ve read several of Mishak’s books, so I am used to the heart attacks. This book had its share, but it was also a lot of fun! I only got into the fantasy world this year, sure I never liked it. Mishak and a few other authors have proven me wrong. I love with this genre. Thank you Mishak!

The Alpha's Witch Mate

The Alpha's Witch Mate

,he breathed heavily as he tried to get the words out of his mouth. "What is it Jade?",he asked him. "What has happened?". "The....the river...river Apricity", Jade gulped and forced the words out of his mouth. "What happened to the river?", Logan asked urgently. "Tell me". "Dried up my Lord",Jade said. "The river....had been frozen...and it's red...in colour". Logan froze when he heard Jade. The river Apricity was a gift from the moon goddess. It was the river that never got dried or frozen, no matter the season. For the river to get dries up now, it meant something terrible was happening.

Leesa's Advent

Leesa's Advent

She knew it would be even more beautiful at other times of the year. The recent storm had swollen the stream. In some places it bounced furiously down the rock, sending small splashes of white into the air; in others it gathered into clear pools, where the eddying currents carried dead leaves and other detritus around in spiraling dances. It should have been cold sitting here exposed to the chill breeze, but not with Rave beside her. His heat seemed to seep into the rock, warming her seat almost as if she was sitting on a heated pad. “That's the Moodus River down there,” Rave said. “A mile or so downstream, it flows into the Salmon River. We're not too far from the infamous noises that had y

I Can't Be Mated to Him

I Can't Be Mated to Him

We can evade him. The river sings to me as we approach it, so near it almost changes the rhythm of my heart. More howls pierce the night. Two left, one right. I loop one arm around Finn’s neck and throw the other out toward the river. Water splashes like sprinting footsteps between the two groups. The howls coagulate there. I wish I had the strength to reorient the current; though the Tansy River is only a tributary of the thundering Grayhead River Mother declared the border between the kingdoms, we have lost more than a few lives to its power. It’s all I can do to quiet Finn’s first plunge into the rapids.

The Pack's Dragon

The Pack's Dragon

“How did you come to be in the company of a Merman, Susan?” “I guess in the ordinary way,” she replied. “I saw him trying to get out of the water and helped him.” “The ordinary way,” Father Isaiah chuckled. “I wasn’t aware that there was an ordinary way. Where was this water from whence you helped him?” “River,” she kept it short. “Havermouth.” “That’s pretty far upstream,” Father Isaiah observed, he looked to Sparrow. “Your domain Sparrow. Are Mermen leaping from the waters around Havermouth?”

Tribrid : Rejected By One, Claimed By Four

Tribrid : Rejected By One, Claimed By Four

Up ahead, the heavy rushing sound of water filled my ears. The Raven River. It was the border line. Beyond the dark, raging water lay The Deadwoods, a lawless, toxic neutral territory where no single pack held control. A place where outcasts, rogues, and dangerous things went to disappear. I didn't slow down. I threw myself straight off the muddy bank, plunging into the freezing, violent river. The cold water hit my burning skin like a shock, but I kicked with all my strength, fighting the heavy current as arrows whistled through the dark air above my head, splashing into the water around me.
