The last time I saw him, he had drunken rosy cheek and seemed much less humbling— I recognized him almost immediately. This was the man whom Nigel tried to have me sleep with! Gavin must have heard that squeaky noise and he started looking at my direction. But Gray’s cold voice came the next second: “What brings you here? I didn’t remember summoning anyone from Shadow Valley Pack.” Gray used the word “summon,” which could be considered as a huge offense.

Silence is our new best friend. “We are at the turning, Kaden.” Grey said “Okay, take your left, it will lead us to a huge gate.” I said to him “What color?” He asked. “Grey, vampire color?” I joked and everyone laughed, well, everyone except for Gerald. “Stop right where you are!” We heard the sound of gunshots in the air. “I have to get down now.” I said and Grey nodded. “Get down, they are shooting in the air.” Amelia said.

The carefree-sounding name doesn't fit his stoic persona at all, in my opinion. Mr. Gray sounds more suitable. Then again, when he had spoken to her, he had sounded gentle and kind. Maybe he gets that from being a dad.
