I put down my Kindle and reach for him, but Robin quickly grabs my hands to keep me from placing them on his ripped body. "I thought you said you had a husband..." Robin says teasingly with twinkling eyes. "You better not cheat on him with me." I pout at him and groan when he smirks at me. I swear this man does anything he can to drive me insane! "Quit playing games with me, Robin, and let me touch you! Give me some of those abs!" Robin playfully sighs. "Hmm, I don't know..." "I won't accept this treatment!" I shout. "Never!"

He is a ten in my books. Surprising this was more shocking than the mate finding. "A ten?, Robin said. "You gave a six and a quarter." "When you find your mate, she will give you a ten. Don't stress me." Robin looked at me sulking. I think he had a slight crush on Anabelle. He never said anything though. Caroline and Stephen come downstairs. "He had slipped into a deep, seeming peaceful sleep. Thank you so much Mira. How much do we owe you?"

I guess this few things are enough proof that a man is not a devil in human skin, like Jaxton who would eat me alive of he sees a way to do that. "I’m Robbin, and I work for Zain, if that's what you want to hear.” He said and motioned to one of the sofas in his room. Maybe he is not a random proletariat like I thought. Maybe he is one of them, the mafia. His response was unkind, and that's how mafia do. They put the answer they wish right in your face and watch you drool over their words the way people drool over a parcel of money. “Umm. Nice to meet you, Robbin.” I mumbled.

I ask. "No, just the way I like it." He says. "Oh, too bad… I discovered this new author with Mia, her name is M. Robinson, and her books are really good, I started the first book of her a series and I’m enjoying it so far. Though there are a lot of sex scenes I feel as though I’m learning from them." I explain, but I’m stopped when Rowan places his hand in front of my mouth to stop me from speaking. Rowan looks at me "This is exactly what I was talking about. You can’t just say you started reading a book, you need to talk about sex. You know for a virgin you sure do love talking about sex." Rowan closes his eyes again.

Then they just stared at each other, as if their ability to converse had just disappeared. "Well." Robin cleared her throat. "I guess we should introduce ourselves. "Robin Hanna." She held out her hand across the table. She had one moment of panic, wondering if she should have told him her name. Then she gave a mental shrug. She'd just have to believe Jonas when he assured her the Russians had no idea where she was. "Trey DeMarcus." He took her hand and enveloped it in his warm one. "Nice to meet you, Robin Hanna. Is that Robin with an i or a y?"

Robin smiled and pulled me along with him as Ryan chuckled behind as I struggled, but Robin gripped my hands tightly and it hurt more so I gave up struggling. They wouldn't kill me, would they? No, they won't, the school was too big… "Whatever you are thinking, it is the opposite," Robin whispered in my ears and I looked up to his dark eyes. When did Robin become this evil and what was his plan now?

CHAPTER 5 TAYLOR While I sank deep into my thoughts in bewilderment, Mr Rover was busy looking me over from head to toe and with a sigh of disapproval, he stood up from his chair and waved his forefinger at me to stand up too. I quickly did as he wanted and when he held my wrist without warning, I felt my body freeze because I never saw it coming. Mr Rover was holding me! His hand was on my wrist! And I was trying to get used to it.

Robin's voice, angry now. The door flung open, and Robin stormed out, his face dark with fury. He strode directly to me, stopping so close I could feel the heat radiating from him. "Who did this to her?" he demanded, his voice a low growl. I held his gaze steadily. "The Northern Rogues." "Bullshit." His eyes flashed crimson, wolf rising close to the surface. He moved forward, using his height and Alpha presence to loom over me, trying to overwhelm me with his power. "How do you make sense in all of this?" "Step back," I said flatly. * * *
