Spotting him standing near the fireplace, engaged in conversation, Robin stumbled forward, his voice quivering with fear. "Alpha Leori! Help me! There's something...something attacking me!" he managed to blurt out, his words rushed and breathless. The room fell silent as all eyes turned towards Robin, the urgency and terror in his voice catching their attention. Alpha Leori's gaze locked onto Robin, concern etching deep lines on his face. Without a word, he swiftly approached Robin, his authoritative presence radiating a sense of calm amidst the chaos.

"I need to wash the thought of that girl out of my head." The door opened again, and Robin walked in. He was a presence that demanded silence. Tall, dark, and broad-shouldered, he filled the space effortlessly. He wore a brown shirt that looked ready to burst against his chest. As a wolf-human hybrid, he was more formidable than most. He had a way of using his primal side that made even us stay on our toes. Robin’s dark eyes fell on the body on the floor. He didn't look angry, just inconvenienced. He looked at Rory. Cold sweat doused me, as I glanced from the back of Rhys' rigid head to Xander's. "So we are going to collect my sister's mate? Because why not? Why would we not flipping find her first?!" Rhys whirled so he could look at me, his glare searing through me. "Look, either you want her out of Mabon's control or not." I crossed my arms, my chin lifting stubbornly. "It took me nearly three years to find him." "So who is it?" "Alpha Robin." "That two-bit archery hack with a hard on for mischief?!" Rhys roared and I flinched back into the seat.

The one I’m unsure of the proper pronoun for smiled, eyeing me like dinner. “Yes, it’d be rude not to introduce him.” The brunette nodded in agreement with a similar look in her eyes. “Hi, I’m Robyn, and this is Sara and Shiloh. We’re Xenia’s friends.” The blonde introduced them as she offered her left hand, turning it just right so the reseeding sunlight still hit it to highlight her diamond. “I told you to go,” Xenia grumbled.

How could he let her take over him? He tried to push Jennifer, but she hugged him tightly. He shoved her to the bed and covered her. “Check her and give her an antidote.” Robin was embarrassed now. He should not have come here, but Raymond called him. How would he know his Alpha was making out with Luna? Robin came to Jennifer and asked, “Are you feeling dizzy or in any pain?” She looked at him with her blue eyes. Robin gasped when he saw such beautiful eyes, causing Raymond to frown.
