it's closer. A slithering sound rustles in the ferns below. My breath catches. I nock an arrow, magic humming along the shaft. "Come on, you slimy bastard," I mutter. "Let's see what you're made of." The bushes part, and out he comes, a massive snake shifter, scales gleaming green-black, his hood flared like a death fan. Humanoid upper body, serpentine lower half, eyes slitted and cruel. He tastes the air with a forked tongue, his fangs dripping venom that sizzles on the ground.

I told them all, just before he emerged in front of us. Sharks were intimidating creatures, whether fully shifted, half shifted, or in their human skin. The one before us was half shifted. His skin was that dark bluish gray of a shark's. He had large muscles on his chest and arms, which he held crossed over his chest. He had human-like features on his face with large rows of sharp teeth like a shark's. He grinned at us all, trying to intimidate us with his not so pearly whites.

Through the glass on the door, they could see inside the pet shop. A huge steel snake came into view. It was so large that its head alone could cover the entire storefront. Its azure blue eyes, each as big as a bucket, were staring right at the siblings. Susan felt as if an invisible hand was tightly gripping her heart, making it almost impossible for her to breathe. If she wasn't holding Stanley's hand, she would have been so scared that she would have fallen to the ground. Looking into the steel monster's eyes was not the same as looking into a mecha's eyes. Susan found the steel snake much more terrifying than Victor.

A strong wind flies over my head, drawing my attention to the sky. Well, I’ll be damned. It’s a draconoid—a creature that’s about half human and half dragon. The demon is a menace to hunters who are not adept at fighting in midair. It’s a pain in the butt to deal with, but with my stolen abilities, it shouldn’t be much of a challenge for me to kill it. Sadly, I still need to bring it to the casino before taking it back to hell.

Human or not, she is the other half of my soul. Three of my members beat me by half a second, and I grow weary as the female human's screams stop. As I rip through the thick branches and undergrowth, I spot her crawling—joy glazes over my vision as I look over her features. I tear two of our enemies apart at once without giving them a glance. My members form a circle of protection as they decimate the rest of the small group, and I move toward my mate, who is so focused on her dead companion. She isnt even protecting herself. Her eyes are on him only, and a possessive snarl builds in my throat as I realize they were a romantic couple.

she asked just to be sure. “Yes I’m sure mum”. VVVVV Inside the safety of his room, he locked his door and peeled of his wet clothes tossing them in the hamper. He walked into the bathroom. He closed it also and turned his back to the mirror and took a picture. The cobra, a huge contrast to his white skin. Ink black all curled up and baring his fangs. He had always been fascinated with snakes and not just snakes. Any animal that was poisonous. Always wanted to know how their toxins worked on predator and prey. Others found it weird, but his father was proud of his curiosity.

was a mass of writhing snakes. Her skin was a stony, greyish-white, covered in fine cracks, as if it might crumble at any moment. The second figure was even more terrifying. It was a knight, stitched together from the parts of different people. Rusted armor barely covered the seams, and heavy chains hung from his body, clanking horribly with every step. The live comments, which had gone quiet over my relationship with Damien, lit up again. [HOLY CRAP! It's Medusa and a Stitched Abomination!]

I took the hospital gown which Nicole had thrown over to me and quickly disappeared behind the curtain I had changed behind earlier on, shifting back into my human form, I hissed as I finally felt the effects of the wound. The pain was worse than what I had been feeling in my neck two days' ago and when I looked down at the size of the wound, I knew that I was going to have another scar to add to the collection I was slowly gathering. But at least this one was a real battle wound. Damn silver. I am going to have to have words with the Moon Goddess about that. You do that and perhaps I won't have a hideous scar to show for my idiocy once the would heals.

Nano's heart jumps with amazingly, "Oh that's why you want to amend the law, Martin." "A dream is our subconscious Nano, it is sometimes a peek to our future, and maybe, this is a sign that new rules in our land must be implemented to a more beautiful race made by gods and goddesses." The half-human half-horse creature unbelievably nods his head and raises his left arm to reach Martin's shoulder, "I got your back, the whole tribe would be more than grateful for this Martin." Martin raises his head and his eyes alarmingly see someone from a distance hiding behind the enormous Mango tree, it is Tony, the silly goblin and a loyal servant of Victoria flashing a riddle with an insult written in

“Envy.” “Monsters are born out of envy. Name's Leviathan.” “Nice to meet you.” As tall as Beelzebub, his figure was rather slender, that of a performance swimmer, not a Hunter. The straight hair of an intense green, that of the woods in the middle of summer, reached to the level of the chest and was, as usual, given on the right side, two thin braided and tightly glued tails started from the temple and got lost somewhere behind the ear, preventing his hair from reaching the left side. His face had a pleasing skeleton with high cheekbones, a straight, aristocratic nose, and full lips on which he almost always played a defiant smile. His eyes were truly fascinating, with a mesmerizing pale pin
